“My mom elderly lady who does not speak English well, had a difficult situation with the package that was return back to her not reaching the destination. While Napa Trancas str post office turned her down , the wonderful team at St. Helena post office was able to help to resend the package. Special thank you to Mr. Kevin and Mr. Ed !”

“The Glen Ellen post office and its staff are a great benefit to those of us who live here. I have been there easily 250+ times over the past 10 years, and used most services eg packages of all sizes, delivery times from urgent to not, packing help needed or not, domestic and international. The staff is polite, friendly (and knows locals' first names), and knowledgeable. They also care about your money: if there is a particular type of envelope for overnight or other expedited service that will get it there at roughly the same time as a different one sized the same, they let you know before you commit to the more costly one because you were not aware. You are a person to them, not a transaction. The facility is clean. Closing time, to them, means you can walk in the door at precisely that time and they take care of you; no "that would take 10 minutes and we are now closed." We keep a p.o. box there, and they have a terrific and very easy system to get your packages if over-sized and unable to fit in your box: with no assistance needed, so can do by yourself on weekends as well, speedily. Lots of parking in a dedicated lot right there. And an outdoor drive-through mailbox: you pull your car up, open your driver's side window, drop whatever you are mailing into the secure box, then be on your way without having even exited the car. I almost never post reviews. But when I saw this rating I was taken aback. It very simply does not reflect whatsoever how people around here feel, in fact the it's opposite. Every post office should operate like this one does, and we are lucky to have it.”

“Went in to turn in my passport documents without an appointment, and the wonderful people working there were able to do my application anyway. I am very thankful they were able to take the time to sign all the documents needed to submit for my passport, when they could have told me to come back another day. A+ service!”

“After reading all the bad reviews, I almost regretted making an appointment here to process a passport.
When I arrived the lady at the counter had a smile on her face... I thought, how can this be possible? this doesn't make sense lol.

Long story short, I don't remember the lady's name, I think it was Carolina (I apologize if that's not it). The important things is that she was the nicest, most helpful person I ever dealt with at a post office.

Maybe the rude lady left/got fired, or maybe it was just my lucky Tuesday at 10 a.m.”
