Older hotel. Needs some detailing, What it lacks due to age it makes up for in service. We were warmly welcomed and the staff met our every need with a professional attitude not seen in some hotels in this chain. Will definitely be staying here on our next trip.

Customer Service sucks. Lady at the front desk rudely greeted us with, “that’s why we have the sign outside.” Attitude needs to be checked. We’ve read the sign, we wanted to kindly ask the direction as we are new to the area. We’re very disappointed.

I had been in other Best Western with my fam and the only thing I have to say is about the receptionist, she really rude! She was really rude, she has to learn about customer services, we were happy with the room, Although the pools were not working, the stay was good despite the receptionist

My husband and I made reservation online for 2 adults for 2 nights. During check in at 4pm the front desk informed me that guests were not allowed. My 2 grandkids are next door getting food and are not allowed to come in our room to eat. BW has a sign at the front desk about no guests but not online. It is too late to make a last minute reservation elsewhere. The Clerk had an I don't care attitude. My husband is a double amputee in a wheelchair and we just wanted to enjoy a meal with our grandkids in a comfortable place before taking them home. When we stay at a hotel it always involve family. The room smelled bad, refrigerator froze our food. The temp knob was missing and they knew it. I will never stay at a BW again.

I’m still here, but I’m rating this BW a 5/5 because the manager and the front desk staff were exceptionally kind and provided great customer service. :) And no, they didn’t ask me to write a review. Thank you!

Front desk employees were kind of strange. No jokes, no smile, didn't care about you and they made me feel I was bugging them.The room surprisingly enough was in good shape and clean! The window screen had holes so, not much functionality there. Overall, recommended.Rooms: Clean.

The best part was the front desk guy Larry was so courteous and helpful and nice. Gen Z needs to learn from his manners . Room was decent . We stayed here one night and it was comfortable stay . Is an hour from monteray bay n Carmel by the sea is close by too .

One staff ruined it all for me from check in I couldn't even get in my room after my company paid for four nights, he couldn't find my name in the system then couldn't find my room and then after all that I couldn't get in cuz the guy didn't know what he was doing whole time cutting me off an not listening like how are you at the front desk and your being rude. Then couldn't even eat breakfast after long night of work cuz they treated and thought I wasn't gonna be staying at the hotel after my room was already purchased by my company for four days. Really wished y'all hired more professional friendly staff.

Internet access not available or intermittent most of my 7-day stay. Almost moved locations as a result. Manager knew all about it. "the router gets hot...so I just turn it off and let it cool and..." Apparently has been an issue for many months. FFS...if you KNOW that it's a recurring issue, then FIX IT. And if you KNOW that there's a temporary workaround, then tell your team so THEY can solve it when you are not there. No cares given.Got told twice that when sitting in their reception/breakfast area that we couldn't talk because the on-duty manager has trouble hearing. Mind you...this is not that we were loud at all...it was that we were expected to stay silent so that the manager could hear what was going on.Got locked outside early morning while waiting for a taxi cab, even though the night manager knew I was checking on the cab to see if they went to the wrong side of the hotel. over 10 minutes waiting outside.Provided feedback to manager directly...didn't care. Provided feedback to Best Western through their online forms...took 21 days for their response. "I am not sure why it took so long for us to respond..." Yeah...me either.Overall a really poor experience both on-site and after.Safety: Got locked outside early morning while waiting for a taxi cab, even though the manager knew I was there and checking to see if the taxi had parked in the wrong locationNoteworthy details: Internet access not available or intermittent most of my 7-day stay.Parking lot shared with McDonalds which is shared with In-n-Out Burger which is on one of the worst-designed streets I have seen yet. Not at all surprising that they continued to have issues in the parking lot with people filling the spaces meant for hotel guests, and playing their car radios at full volume. No care given.

Decent. The hotel shares a parking lot with a McDonald's. I was woken up at 4 am by trash trucks servicing the McDonalds. Breakfast is below average for this price point, but acceptable. Wifi 55/10 Mbps. Chair was not the right height for the desk.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were dirty, shower didn’t even look like it had been cleaned. A terrible noisy location for a hotel. It smelled of an old must. There was pink stains all over the bed sheets. They accused us of stealing 2/8 pillows when there was only a total of 6 pillows when we checked in. They said they will be charging us for it and management wouldn’t even listen to us. Front desk were incredibly rude and unfriendly. Incredibly expensive for what we received. On top of all of that our car had a large scrape all the way down the side. Another couple in the parking lot were furious about a scrape down the side of their brand new Mustang. The worse hotel I have ever stayed in and will never stay in a Best Western again.

Guy at lobby counter was very nice and welcoming when checking us in! Inside hotel and rooms were very nice and clean. Female worker with low bun on the other hand was rude.... We asked to check out from room over phone (which has NEVER! been a problem in the hundreds of rooms I've stayed in) and all I got was " umm there's only one way in and out of the hotel and you're gonna pass here anyways so just do it up there" um so is every hotel but none have ever responded that way but whatever you say lady. And not sure if this was just this time but they closed off the single entrance parking lot with cones at 11 pm... are we not allowed to leave after 11? I moved the cones anyways but still

The room excelent, smelled super nice and clean. The breakfast was really good too and the view was fabulous ?
