In-Shape Family Fitness offers a clean and spacious environment for its members. The Salinas location features a variety of studio fitness classes, small group and personal training sessions, and amenities like a sauna, Pickleball court, and pool. Members can also take advantage of childcare services. The gym is equipped with circuit machines and a range of equipment, as well as a hot tub, steam room, and sauna. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, with some standout employees like Luis who work hard to maintain the facilities. Many members appreciate the variety of equipment available for total body workouts, which helps them stay fit and achieve their goals. The gym is praised for its layout and the multiple popular machines, making workouts convenient and efficient. However, some members have noted issues with cleanliness and organization, mentioning broken machines and weights left scattered around. The facility has improved in cleanliness recently, but parking from Monday to Thursday can be difficult. Some areas can get hot quickly due to lack of air conditioning, which members hope will be resolved soon. Overall, In-Shape Family Fitness aims to provide a positive and effective environment where members can work towards their fitness goals comfortably.

The staff are always friendly and the machines are generally well spaced apart. It can get really crowded during peak hours though and the gym can get pretty stuffy because of it.
