“We were thrilled to find a Zoom Room on the peninsula for our Australian Labradoodle puppy, Rumi, after having such a great experience with another Zoom Room with our first dog. Meg, Erin, Georgie, and Henry are fun, informative, and helpful trainers who have really gotten to know our dog over the months and have helped train us as humans as much as they’ve helped train her. We love that they know her by name, her personality, her strengths and quirks. We’ve done puppy obedience, puppy agility, obedience 1, and we’re now working through obedience 2. Looking forward to continuing our work together!

Jen and Kristi always have great, traceable treats that rotate for my little chihuahuas! great frozen meat chubs that they go crazy for. my dogs always want to stop in, even if they’re closed. have seen great improvement with their coat, stamina, and ability to bounce back from brutal hikes”

“Exceptional Experience at Bernal Beast!
I discovered Bernal Beast during my walks with my new dog, Little Bear, and after noticing the store’s training offerings, I decided to give it a try. The classes I wanted to join were full, so I opted for a private “Ask the Trainer” session—and I am so thankful I did!
From the moment I contacted the trainers, I felt at ease. Erika and Stephanie (the amazing folks running the training program) were incredibly understanding and helpful when I made a mistake with my booking, going above and beyond to get everything sorted.
When Little Bear and I finally met Erika, I could immediately tell we were in great hands. By the end of the session, I felt like I had learned so much, and I left with renewed confidence as a dog owner. Erika is patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind—not just with my dog but with me, too. She showed us new techniques, went over some of the basics, and took the time to ensure I wasn’t overwhelmed. I felt supported every step of the way.
Bernal Beast is more than just a training center, though. The store itself is wonderful—clean, easy to navigate, and always stocked with great pet products. The staff here are all friendly and welcoming. Little Bear is a bit nervous around new places, but the staff’s patience and generosity make each visit a positive one. They spoil her with treats, give great recommendations without pressure, and genuinely care about the pets they serve.
I can’t recommend Bernal Beast enough. Whether you’re looking for training, pet products, or just a welcoming space for your fur baby, this place has it all. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Erika (and Stephanie, who I’m sure is just as amazing) to help build that bond with your pet. We can’t wait for our next visit and to continue learning from Erika!”

“Two of our pups were turning 13 and we knew we needed to do something special. We reached out to Carla and sent her some photos and viola! She was kind, accommodating, and did an amazing job!
The pups at the party were not shy about enjoying the cake. Crumbs were licked clean!
We signed up for the Valentines Day photo shoot as well and had a great time with our pups. They are typically extremely anxious but it felt like they were more overwhelmed with the amazing smells of the store and wanting to sample everything. We left with a goodie bag of puppy baked goods for later. They have already made a few of them disappear!
This is a great place to go for treats, toys, and some top shelf Cakes and other baked goods for your furry children!”
“i’ve had noe valley pet company on my list of “places to visit” and was recently able to after i started walking a friend’s dog in the same area. they have a great selection of treats and care items and their staff is always sweet to the dog i walk (he’s an anxious dog).
recently, i purchased a light up collar for my dog to use for night walks. much to my dismay, it began having issues after a few uses. after visiting the store and telling the staff about the collar, they let me know that they’d look into solving the problem.
the next day, they let me know that they’d look into contacted the collar company to replace the faulty collar and that next time i was around to come and get a new one, free of charge. the way they dealt with the issue showed their great customer service and support.

Been bringing my now 13 year old Border Collie for several years following a work accident involving an injured rear leg (has been a working sheepdog along with other performances all of his life). The PT work has served to keep him fit in his retirement & he loves his 6 month check ups.”
“CHRIS!!!! Chris was so friendly and helpful on my visit for my dog’s shots. I came without the proper documents and he walked me through everything. The veterinarian and staff were fast friendly and courteous as well. When the shots were done Chris remained in contact with me to be sure all of the documentation was up to date and correct through many correspondences. He maintained his friendly and courteous manner the whole time. Customer service and attention to detail are not dead! Thank you Chris so much!”

“I always go out of my way to shop at Cole Valley Pets, and it’s well worth it! Not only am I supporting a local business with happy employees, but my dog and I get so much more than just dog food. The team is so nice and helpful, whether I need help making sense of our vet’s nutritional guidance, or a few more minutes to gather what I need past closing time, I always feel well cared for. They remember my dog even when he’s not with me and will suggest products proactively. I highly recommend supporting this small local business! Pro tip: pay with cash and they’ll discount and usually round down so you don’t end up with coins.”
