I just bought my 2 bonded parakeet today and I enjoyed my time chatting with the ladies in the shop. You can really tell they care for the birds and their customers. I got alpine and Meadow and give them a new home.. this shop is very nice and clean. i love supporting local shops.

The Animal Company is a cute little neighborhood pet store in Noe next to the UPS store. They have some basic pet supples/food/toys, but mostly they specialize in various type of birds (see pix). Their back wall has an assortment of colorful little birds yet the place is still very clean and smells nice.
After 45 years, we continue to be the premier supplier of hand fed pet birds. Along with offering all your bird needs, including grooming, DNA tests and boarding, we carry a great variety of dog, cat, and small animal food, treats and supplies. If we don't carry it in the store, we will special order it for you at no extra cost!
Located at the corner of 24th St and Castro St in Noe Valley, come in for a visit, and don't forget to bring your dog in on your daily walk for the latest and best treats!
