“I first transitioned to JFFD after my vet recommended it for my senior dog who had pancreatitis and needed a low fat diet. I was able to give my dog a quality life for almost a year and a half after being diagnosed thanks to this food. I would bounce between Hepatic Support (Rx needed) and the Fish and Sweet Potato - whichever was available because they were often out of Hepatic at the time. Fast forward to the next senior dog we adopted and I decided to also put him on the fish and sweet potato after he began having gastrointestinal issues from another company's chicken blend. I learned that beef and poultry can be an allergen to dogs. I tried the venison JFFD had, but it upset his stomach. Thankfully the fish and sweet potato was a success, as it was for me before. Since moving to the area I was so happy to have this store nearby. They always have what I need in stock and product quality never disappoints. Previously I would purchase JFFD at Petco but often found insane amounts of crystalized ice (almost like freezer burn), so when I defrosted the food it was extremely watery and liquidy. I have not had that problem at this store and feel quality control is much better here.”

“I took my Husky and Shepherd there for a bath, brush, ear cleaning and nail trim. My Shepherd is nervous and barks at people and other dogs, but they took her anyway and they made her comfortable. Both pups were so happy and SO CLEAN when I picked them up!”

“We have gotten a 2 cakes here in the past. First was for our dogs 10th birthday and the other for our other dogs 5th. The dogs seemed to enjoy the cakes. We shared it with other pups and all but 1 ate it. Service was average. We requested them to write the number "5" under the name on the small cake. They said they wouldn't be able to and only the name would be added. Not sure why a number wouldn't be added, seems like a reasonable ask. They wouldn't tell my why, just that they wouldn't missed the mark on that one.”

“This Pets Plus location beats the San Juan location hands down. ever since Tom left the San Juan location things have been going downhill. I shop Ralphs San Clemente twice a week and stopped in Pets Plus for a tennis ball for my newly adopted rescue dog. I was mentioning that my rescue dog had skin issues the young man named Grayson helped me immensely! Grayson suggested many products for the skin ailments, comparing and contrasting each product in detail. He also helped me with the comfort is the tennis ball because I needed somethings soft. My rescue dog feels better with the probiotic skin spray. Need help? Just ask for Grayson and you will most likely leave the store more knowledgeable than when you walked in.”

“I got my 16 year old cat her official Florida driver's license. It came with 3 key tags. These are just awesome! Everyone I show it to absolutely love it. I'm so happy that Naples Zoo did this for their Lioness Shani last year when she turned 16 and gave me the inspiration to do it for my cat. Even being able to pick out a restriction for her was so much fun. I got it in about a week. Highly recommended for any critter owner that treats them like kids. ??”
