Terrible service. Came in about an hour and a half before closing trying to do a simple phone carrier switch to my new device. All I needed was to swap the sim and activate my phone. Employee made comments that made me feel like it was the most difficult procedure in the world and that he would have to call management to come in the next day to help him and I would have to come back another time. Made me feel like I was wasting his time. He started doing some sort of complicated procedure on my phone and then said he needed a pin from my old provider. I went to the parking lot right out front, called my provider, got the pin, and then watched the employee lock up the store 35 minutes early leaving me out of luck with a half transferred phone. I then went to an actual ATT branch store and they told me that he had done something to stall the transfer and they had to make some calls to figure out how to undo what he had done. They were very kind and gracious with their time and told me the La Jolla store was a satellite and not branch store, explains the terrible service. Is a phone activation not a daily occurrence at an ATT store??? Could not believe the service and unprofessionalism with closing early and stalling my phone half way through a transfer. Avoid at all costs.

Jay, the store manager, helped us super quickly. Didn’t try to make us get any of the extras because we already mentioned it before. Answered all our questions and we left the store happy, all thanks to Jay!

Jay and Casey of ATT on Pearl Street, La Jolla, California, 92037 assisted me in getting my browser to function on 5G without WIFI. The problem was not an Iphone setting. It was a technical issue from ATT. They could have easily thrown up their hands but they persisted until the problem was resolved. What a pleasure to find 2 PROFESSIONALS in this world of incompetence. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!Rich H.

I have been an AT&T customer for a LONG time, and have interfaced with many AT&T employees, so I know what I am saying when I say that some people are much more helpful than others. We live near the La Jolla store, so I have come to rely on Leah, the manager there, to solve all of my phone problems. She is honestly the best AT&T employee I have ever encountered. She patiently explains things and communicates all of the details. She helps me choose a plan that works best for my needs, and find me new phones when I need them. She trouble-shoots and works incredibly hard to figure out whatever is wrong. I feel like she CARES, and this is such an excellent thing. AT&T has fierce competition from Verizon, and many of my friends have switched. If AT&T can recruit and keep excellent employees like Leah, they will thrive!

Horrible! Visited the store to get a Sim card. I asked for a pre paid with unlimited data and hot spot data. No problem she told me, but pre paid are not available anymore. So for 50$ a month, limitless data and 10GB hot spot data postpaid!Bought this Sim card and in the evening it turned out, that there is no hotspot included. Visited another OFFICIAL AT&T store the next day. He told me, that there is pre paid options and this store is NOT an official AT&T store. She is working on provision and gets obly money for postpaid plans!Most horrible thing, I got a bill for 109$ for this months! So more than double the proce she sold me the Sim card WITHOUT hot spot!Such a badass!!! Cheated in all belongings!

I can honestly say that I've not had bad service at any ATT location. Leah at the La Jolla Pearl St location was great. I had to set up an older phone for my young daughter. She walked me through it all and set it up....all with a smile. We had friendly conversation. It was a relaxed, pleasant visit that accomplished what I needed. Leah is fantastic. Go see her at the Pearl St location.

Leah is absolutely amazing. She is beyond patient and has made all our experiences with AT&T go much smoother than we expected. If you've got a problem with your watch or phone, or both -- go see her. She knows what she's doing
