“Not many places like this left, please support them. Staff has always been nice to me. Wish they’d stop selling pipes/blowtorches and such though, encourages use.”
“This is my new favorite store. Everything is reasonably priced and they have really cute stuff! I got PJs, makeup bags, car accessories, tarot cards, tech stuff, The items they sell aren't crappy like at the dollar store. My.son even bought me a Monopoly game from here. They also have snacks, drinks, candy, arts & crafts supplies, just overall a really fun store to browse through. I'm addicted.”
“This is a great store for the basics plus some home wares, and the produce is the only thing that can be a hit or miss. It’s going to be a little crazy being downtown and the employees know how to keep things in check.”
“A lot of great household items and office things. Unique items and snacks. You have to look up the prices from yen to dollars. Smaller than I’d expected. Crew was very friendly. I would go back.”
“It's okay, I just always feel like they think I am there to steal. It's projecting on my part because I don't get harassed when I go in. They don't even bother me about my backpack. I can't give it a five because it's a drab and dreary little place”
“I've been to 90 percent of grocery outlet stores in San Diego and this one is on my top 3...well stocked unique products fresh produce will definitely come back again”
“Too bad I live in LA or else I'd be here everyday!!! Food was a 10/10 and the workers at the deli have the best energy and make the best-est sandwiches ??”
“(Translated by Google) Very small store served but you find many things for the home.(Original)Muy servido pequeña tienda pero encuentras muchas cosas para el hogar.”
“Super legit store with everything under one roof! Cheaper prices than the 7-11 next door! I was surprised I got all my needs taken care of at one place.. It's basically a mini Walmart! The people were friendly too including the younger guy with the big head and beard haha I think his name was moaman or something like that. Overall it's a great find even tho it was hard to find at first.. Will be back!”
“Cute little place. I didn’t think it was real but it is. Everything is like 1.29 and up not bad reminds me of the 99cents stores in nyc queens. Was able to get some basic things. Cheap made in China/India but worth the dollar. Also the map location is wrong it’s more like a little pass the corner. Next to the Mexican food spot.”
“Went to Tony's to furnish some of the work areas at the company. Good deals and quality. I been dealing with Christian at Tony's, great guy and is very customer service oriented.”
“Best souvenir shop in Old Town San Diego. Extensive inventory so you can find any souvenir you might be looking for. Been coming here since I was a kid. Employees are nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a restroom which is a plus when you're shopping for a while!”
“Places is clean and convenient friendly employees. The only thing is make sure you call if you need a certain Item because several times they don’t have it available.”
“This is one of the better grocery stores in San Diego. Their produce is reasonably priced and reasonably fresh. They don't have a great selection, but the prices on their items tend to be fairly competitive. Can find somewhat unusual items here as well again at a decent price.”
“If you're missing the Dollar Store find this place. If you're a crafter go here. If you're a cook step in here. If you don't want to walk 30,000 SQ FT come to this spot.”
“Some of the best employees in the area. I'm a frequent customer of theirs and they're very much familiar with me at this point. They have right about anything you need and the employees are just the greatest human beings. Keep up the great work!”
“The location is perfect for going over the border. I love this brand. I got a good number of things that will go well with my accommodation in Baja. I personally don't know how to use the dollar stores in Mexico so I think this is a good stop for a new traveller.”

“My favorite go to place for all my quick shopping and affordable needs for everrone in the fam and everything around the house! And there is never a long line, I love it!”
“The perfect thrift store experience. There are so many amazing vintage items, the owner is extremely friendly and fair, and there's a store cat !!! I'm absolutely coming back. A hidden gem of a place. :)”
“I knew we could find some cheap plastic baskets to put our toiletries in while traveling and found them here. Also looked for some name brand baby shampoo for $1.25 instead of $7+ at the pharmacy. I was also looking for some spray eye glass cleaner expecting to find a small travel size for $1.25. Nope a much larger size for your home counter. Too big to travel. Always great Halloween and Christmas decorations and small projects for the grandkids to do.”
“Cool store....not everything is .99 cents. The prices are on the items if it's not a dollar. Has a little bit of pretty much everything imaginable!! Except NO ICE! They don't sell ice!! Oh and milk...only sell boxed milk. However they do put it in the fridge so its cold. Too expensive though in my opinion...$2.99 for a quart. If I remember correctly it's half of a half gallon for $3, I think that's too much! Other than that the ice in the milk the store is really cool! It has clothes, underwear, socks, hats, all snacks cookies crackers, cooking oils, bathroom amenities, cooking pots pans, even home decor! If you've never been it's worth going to check it out!”
“I love this place. You can tell that the people that started this company and the ones who run it today have always had the customers best interest at heart. I commend the Dollar Tree on its commitment to providing quality at an unmatched price and I recommend supporting this company. There are no other dollar stores around after the pandemic and inflation. They only went up a humble 25 cents. At the other stores I'll be damned if there is anything for a buck anymore. Update some prices on certain items have gone up.”
“I have been going to dollar tree for years. I always can find the majority of things a stopped fo unlike other 99 cent stores.I always have had friendly service.”
“Everything at dds is really worth shopping for they have really good stuff every day and price is good for my family I enjoy shopping there thank you for having dds”
“Very satisfied with this store visited about five times so far Elizabeth cashier Very friendly and helping to pack products. Other employees working the floor Very nice and helpful in answering questions about products in stock definitely clean and well stock. Definitely will be visiting on regular basis. Five plus stars
Thanks team”
“The line wasn't too long. It was a bit crowded but always is. They had the right gift bags I needed. I got in and out of the store in less then 10 minutes. The cashier was polite as well.”
“I stopped at this place for picking up some containers. This is located in big shopping plaza, the parking is shared, and a couple of rounds you should be able to find a spot. The store is well maintained and, one time, all the items that the dollar store will typically contain. The staff is friendly and willing to help. I got what I needed, and check out was easy.”
“First time visiting. I stopped in while waiting for a reservation at a nearby ramen restaurant on a Sunday night around 7 PM. The store was very clean, well-organized, and visually appealing. It was refreshing to see a wide variety of unique household items, including many products from Japan.
The layout was easy to navigate, and everything was neatly displayed. It felt similar to a HomeGoods-style store, but with a Japanese twist. I didn’t Purchase anything while I was there so I couldn’t speak on the pricing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it, especially for first-time visitors.”
