Game Empire is one of the OG game stores in the San Diego area, offering everything needed for chess, board gaming, card games, jigsaw puzzles, miniature war games, role playing games, poker, and mah jongg. It is the place to play it all, with events happening every day, including board game nights for newbies.
The store boasts a huge and glorious collection. Customers will find a great selection of tabletop games, dice, miniature combat game stuff, board and card games, and TTRPGs. One of the best and largest sections is for pre-owned and second-hand games, offering amazing deals on hard-to-find, OOP, and pretty great options if new games are out of your budget.
It is a great place for enthusiasts and a fantastic local haunt. The store provides tables for playing your own games or borrowing one, and lots of active communities congregate here. The space is clean, including the bathroom, and the music is great but not too loud. The staff are great, helpful, and know their stuff, able to answer questions about stock. Most employees are friendly and efficient, though engagement can vary. The store makes customers feel welcome, even when playing for several hours. It is a top-notch local store that should not be missed.

So many different types of games and so much selection! Cashiers were very experienced gamers and gave great recommendations. Gave a great, helpful review of a game I was interested in (Stardew Valley) for a group party. Tables for social gaming in the back and in one side section. Huge store!
