It is so wonderful to have a bookstore dedicated to speculative fiction! They do a great job recommending books. Layout is inviting and staff is friendly. I make a point to visit whenever I am in town.

Finally a bookstore where it's 90% books that I personally want to read and 10% general fiction. Amazing selection of books you don't normally find in bookstores! Plus awesome events.

It's a great bookstore with a huge selection! They have all kinds of fantasy, queer & global majority representation, and cool stickers/gifts.
Founded in 1992, Mysterious Galaxy is an independent genre bookstore specializing in science fiction, fantasy, mystery, young adult, romance, and horror. We are dedicated to providing readers and book collectors with a great selection of books as well as the opportunity to meet many of those authors through our author events. It is through these events, conventions, and directly from publishers that we’re able to provide many signed first editions.
