“I ADORE this bookstore! The very first time I ever went in, the shop owner made my entire night and I laughed so much. They’re always so welcoming and friendly!Their curated book selection is fantastic. I’m always following releases on GoodReads and B&N, yet they always have other new ones that are off the mainstream radar. Iron Flame recently released and it was sold out everywhere at the major outlets - but I knew I could count on Book Catapult to have it in stock and not thrashed! I loved seeing their pre-order stack ready for pick up too, it makes my heart real happy. ❤️”

“My new favorite bookstore! Amazing curation of books and just as amazing customer service. Latino-owned business with community at its heart. Amazing selection of books that are rarely seen, if at all at any other bookstore. The branding is ?, the little trinkets and decor Everywhere invokes a sense of Chicano whimsy that is unmatched. In love with Libélula and will definitely make this a must-stop on all future visits to San Diego. Much love - Alex @ravg.arts from LA ♥️ Tlazocamatli ”

“An old theatre repurposed to be a book store is probably the best use of the space! It's a regular Barnes and Noble with regular Barnes and Noble pricing, but the atmosphere is very cool with the theatre feel. Parking is in the back, and unlike regular Barnes and Noble stores, there's no cafe.”

“Great place to find used books (some for as little as 25 cents) and DVDs. The only downside is that it closes at 4 p.m., so don't plan on going in the evening. Lots of items to explore, so take your time. The staff is very friendly and helpful.”

“I had such a fun time here! I work nearby and I’d seen this bookstore multiple times and decided to go in and look around. I was not disappointed. They have a huge selection of books. They also have a hefty selection on legos and little Knick knacks. I loved roaming around and just seeing all the different things. If ever in the area I recommend going in and just looking around for fun or if you’re looking for a book I think they’ll have it available (:The kids selection is pretty big. The biggest selection I’ve seen so far!”

“Overall a great bookstore to get your academic materials and stock up on some school spirit wear. Highly recommend getting your hoodies before they run out of sizes, was there a few days ago and were short on XL on one particular hoodie I wanted to get. It's two floors with the top consisting of many of the reading materials you'll need for your courses. I encourage any 1st years to hit up rental online retail first if you wanna save some big bucks. Prices are high on merchandise and material but is typical for college campuses to have such prices. Layout of the store is great too, it flows very evenly and allows visitors to explore all areas of the store. In all a great spot to check out.”

“I am taking EMGM 105 and 106 and the bookstore staff was very helpful in helping me find everything I needed for class. The bookstore is a little hard to find, there aren't really any signs. At least that I could find. Its kinda in the middle, back. Its building K1. If you see the child development building in front of you, before you get to the building go around the building on your left and its the next big building.”
