I have a good deal of money at NFCU and an over 800 credit rating. When I tried to co-sign for a small $1800 loan for my 22- yr - old son (to build his credit), the best they would do was 19% (walked out). I loaned him the money instead; Another example: NFCU recently advertised a used car loan in the low 5%, but when I went through the application process (for 10K) the best they would offer was 6.5% with no explanation and would not refer me to a supervisor. I shifted savings around and paid cash for the car; Today, came an email from NFCU saying they are delaying a deposit of a small check (900) "because we have reasonable cause to believe that the check is uncollectible from the paying bank." This is laughable if you knew who this check came from. I called and asked what was the reason and she couldn't give one and wouldn't refer me to anyone for an appropriate answer. It seems that "Security" at NFCU chooses deposits randomly without warrant and without regard for customer's high balances; It is impossible to call your branch - period. When calling the 888 number -automated system, you are pressed for qualifying question after question after question until you are hitting zero finally bringing on a human. Horrible banking service. NFCU does not serve me as a valued customer. I will be moving my money elsewhere including the maturing CDs. Is this what the banking industry has become?

First time going to this branch. One teller and a long line. Its a small branch, but it's busy. There were 4 other staff members doing nothing. I would imagine they would get up and help.

I have been banking with navy federal for over 25 years. And they can’t cash a total $215.30 checks. I have more than 20k in the bank. They have to put 1 day hold. I was waiting for at least 30 minutes one guy working and the two ladies was just seating down no one acknowledge me. Until I told one of the ladies if they could help me. They were just busy messaging each other giggling. Navy fed. Get better employees. 7/29/2023 10;26 am.

It was my first time in the bank. I normally do everything online. I was greeted by a polite gentleman at the door who was helpful and answered all of my questions. The teller was polite. I was seated fairly quickly and got my business taken care of with another helpful banker. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The bank was clean and had a peaceful environment. I will definitely come to this location again in the future.

Drove out to the branch on Sunday because the hours of operation stats it's open on Sunday until 2pm, which it is not.

I needed a service and was told I would have to wait 40 minutes so I asked the receptionist if I could go to the store and come back in 20...she said yes...when I came back she looked at me like she didn't know me and said, "oh I thought you left?" So they made me wait over an hour...wow she should have just stated for me to stay...but I was just trying to follow COVID protocol since there were already two other people in the lounge...never again I should have gone to another Navy Federal...I won't be back to this one for sure!

I have been with the branch in tierrasanta mall. Over 5 years or more. Always EXCELLENT SERVICE on everything that matters. Staff is the best you could ask for at a bank or credit union. Family members as well belong to Navy Federal Credit Union throughout the United States of America. Thank you for your EXCELLENT SERVICE.

One of the best NFCU branches I've ever used! PROs: this particular branch is always well staffed. The employees are very knowledgeable on all of the different monetary products that you may need. The wait times are always less than five minutes. The bathrooms are always available and very clean. The staff is also very courteous and will always help you in anyway to get you what you need. The ATM is open 24 hours a day on the outside of the bank as well. There's always lots of parking too. CONs: Zero!

One of your workers, Desiree Voight at the Tierrasanta location, went above and beyond her job to assist me in a situation i found myself in. I was scammed out of a significant amout of money to a student loan fake facility. She calmed me down; as i was very clearly upset and overwhelmed, she gave me statments and phone numbers to call, told me where i can find information on my student loans, and was just so kind and patient. I was really not in a good mental state after some traumatic things that happened these last couple of months. So her patience, professionalism, her going above and beyond to be kind and work with me was such an amazing gift. I truly appreciate her and will continue to come back to this location because the staff here truly cares. The manager i spoke to was amazing and i asked if there was a way corporate could know. So here i am, and will be posting this to other review sights and such.Thank you again.

This is the branch where I opened my account. I miss these guys so much. They are so sweet and excel at customer service. It's top notch. Never too busy. I'm too far away to visit here regularly now. I miss my crew here! You guys were the best.
