“We didn't get what we ordered even though we recieved a 3hr old notice that our paints were ready. They weren't. Then the paint mixer system broke while they were fulfilling the order. They had issues getting through to their repair team. Eventually we left then 3 mins after they called back saying they can only fill a fraction of the order, but their internet system went down so we would have to pay cash.They got a 4 because they had customer relationship and was very apologetic. They gave us a tiny discount as well.”

I was greeted warmly by Frank, and once I explained my situation, Frank made great color suggestions, and showed me the large peel and stick sample sheets. I took a few with me to try them out up against the current color. Definitely ask for Frank because he is professional, helpful and efficient!”

“Mark, the manager, provided me with stellar customer service this morning.My painters goofed and used the wrong sheen (flat) on my kitchen walls. So I pointed to the satin and they apologized. However, now I needed a replacement can of flat, so I quickly drove over to Dunn Edwards and got one gallon of flat.Then the painters told me they needed another gallon of satin since they had put that on the ceiling. So, I made a second trip to Dunn Edwards that morning and Mark immediately recognized me and offered his assistance despite being short staffed. I was stressed and frustrated, but Mark made it better by providing me quick service with a smile. Thank you Mark!”

The sales representatives go out of their way to make sure I get the colors I need. They a friendly and informative. While the prices are higher, the quality is excellent. “I received excellent courteous attention from Mike, the store manager, on two separate occasions. As a layman I had no knowledge regarding exterior colors and applications. A local company was preparing to place a texture coating on my SFR. Mike took the time to listen to my needs and concerns, and go through the several color options until he helped me select a sample color, which I purchased. When it went on the walls it looked great, and the house looked beautiful with the texcoat. Following up with solar panel installation, Mike helped me find paint for the galvanized steel conduits going over the new roof and exterior. Again, he took time to listen to my needs. He researched his products and came up with the perfect application for primer. He assured me that the leftover paint from the previous exterior stucco and roofing jobs will work fine on top of the primer which he recommended and sold me. If you are another layman in need of expert, friendly advice, I highly recommend the store manager at Vista Paint, Kearny Mesa.”

“I am so impressed but not only the service but the quality of the product! I was doing some work in my kitchen, it has not been painted since the previous 2 owners! Over 10 years ago, they were kind enough to leave the old paint can in the garage. It was completely dried out of course. I called ahead to check to see if they could paint match, she confirmed they do but they need a large enough sample to scan. She asked that I bring the can in and they will determine if it can be done. I walked in handed her my can she took a look and the dried paint on the lid was enough for a good scan! She was very knowledgeable without even looking at the label she could already tell what finish it was and type. She did warn me it was 10 year old paint and they could get it as close to the color as possible. I knew it would be far fetched to match exact but I will eventually will repaint the entire kitchen later on. I just needed enough to cover up wall patches. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes! Quick scan and my paint was created! Such an easy process! She even provided a 10% discount. I just painted the walls and it's a spot on match! This exceeded my expectations!”
