Riverleaf Inn Mission Valley is a budget-friendly, pet-friendly hotel with a good location, offering easy access to Mission Valley and freeways. Reviews describe it as an easy going, relaxing, and sometimes unforgettable place with a welcoming, friendly, and professional staff who answer concerns calmly and kindly. The hotel has an elevator, which is noted as a plus. Guests find the rooms cozy, bright, tidy, and basic, with very comfortable beds and deep tubs. Some note the setting is outdoors. However, other reviews state the rooms need serious cleaning and renovation, with walls described as disgusting. Service experiences vary widely, with reports of very bad service, long waits for assistance, and housekeeping that did not come for several days. There is no continental breakfast; it is a bare-bones option. The area may not be easily walkable to many places. While many find it quiet, especially in rooms away from the elevator, experiences with overall cleanliness and maintenance are mixed.
Such an easy going hotel. I don’t think I can stay anywhere else in San Diego. Seriously. They aren’t stalkers. They answer your concerns so calmly and kindly. It’s relaxing. So damn relaxing. Chefs kiss river leaf. Your tubs are so deep THANK YOU finally the water covers my knees!!

This place needs a serious cleaning and renovation. The room walls are disgusting and the service is very bad. My key got demagnetized and I had to wait for 15mins until the attendant came back from the room.

My windows were broken. Don't park under the building at all if you can help it
