It’s located right beside the Japanese garden.
This is the World’s Largest Outdoor Musical Instrument! They’ve got several free outdoor concerts perfect for families and little one. Plenty of sitting area and for kids to roam around if they can sit still.
If you’re in the area or in the Balboa park, definitely check them out. It’s quite an experience on its own. Pick a day with good weather and bring a hat.

Seating is outdoors. NO Rain on 10/27. FREE Halloween Concert This Sunday 10/27 @ 2 pm. They usually play Michael Jackson's Thriller and sometimes have dancers to act out the music video. Get there early. PARKING IS VERY LIMITED.

This Organ is “The World’s Largest Outdoor Musical Instrument!” They have many free concerts hosted through the Spreckels Organ Society. It’s fun and family friendly!✨
If you are visiting San Diego, definitely check out the concert schedule and make sure to visit Balboa Park during the time they have a concert going!🎶
P.S. they have a size-able free parking right behind the building which is really nice.

They didn't tell me it'd cost money to rent an umbrella so I could hear and enjoy the concert. Normally, you can sit on the sides of of the pavilion and hear the music just fine. Apparently, they need to generate money, even with a large Park and Recreation budget.
The seating area for these concerts has absolutely no cover from the sun and it's not enjoyable unless you bring an umbrella or rent one for $5.
Not too happy, to say the very least.

The local organist had a great sense of humour in addition to being an incredible musician. There was a technical issue with the organ but he adapted and improvised without missing a beat. Amazing that these concerts are free. Would have paid gladly to watch him!
