This is the absolute worst post office location I have ever dealt with. After 3 days in a parcel locker (for a townhome community) while I was traveling for work. The carrier took it upon himself to return it to the post office, and did and not notify me. Meanwhile my home is 10 ft from the mailbox. When I called today they said this is their "policy" and they will not redeliver the package. Where is this "policy" communicated to your mail customers? Why does this location have their own "policies" that no other locations have? Be prepared when dealing with this location - good customer service is not a priority, but ensuring their mail carries are not inconvenienced to actually deliver the mail is.

Seems the staff at this place would rather chat loudly behind the door about their weekends during work time than help customers who have rung the service bell and waited patiently for over 10 minutes. Pathetic place.

After seeing the reviews I was expecting the worse but it was pretty painless. People made it seem like it was a terrible USPS location but apart from the customer door looking kind of run down everything went pretty smooth. I rang the bell and got my package 2 minutes later. It does look kind of weird and there's not a lot of parking so that could be an issue.

No wonder they lose package they are pos head.I saw my carrier T Hirano buying some weed. They only do drug screening when they are hired. Fraud federal employee.I'd rate 0

Worse business to deal with. The mailman has lost my package and I had to call and submit the case for investigation. They called me to tell me to check the mailbox and then closed my case. I submitted the request again because I checked the "parcel" and the mailbox prior to calling them and nothing. You call their number and no one ever answered and it just keeps ringing and then disconnects. This place is a fraud and should not be in business.

Terrible, TERRIBLE service. Paid extra for my package to delivered in 1-2 business days just for this company to hold my package for over 3 days!!! My destination for my package is 18 minutes away.. This place doesn’t answer the phone, and need new management!

I really hate coming to this postal annex.Not only do they ignore you when you ring, but the tall white man in a red shirt and a “blinged out” dragon ring or whatever had the audacity to tell me I didn’t look the same as my ID when the only difference was my prescription glasses were on vs. a California ID that requires the DMV to take pictures without my glasses.So rude and arrogant, the entire interaction was just harassment the way he spoke to me the entire time.

This is the worst post office. If I can give them no stars I would. I've to deal with them for like 3+ years because I go to UCSD and unfortunately live in the 92122 area code.Went in 2wks. ago to request for a mail hold because I had to close out my P.O. box at the postal annex in the Renaissance shopping center(the one in the same mall as Peet's coffee) because the lady who work there has been opening my mail and peoples packages.I went into this post office and waited 20 min. to be helped. They told me to fill out a hold form for them to hold my mail, so that it doesn't get sent to the P.O. Box. Went back last Friday to pick up my mails, they told me they didn't hold my mail and it went to the P.O. Box and they "don't know why", but that 3 pieces of mail went to the P.O. Box. So, I filled out another hold form.I went back yesterday to pick up my mail. The customer in front of me already waited 25 min for help. He was angry, so him and we walked to the back of the building to look for help. Guy in the back said "I don't work here. Go back and ring the bell."We went back and rang the door bell for another 10 minutes before someone came to help. They told me that hold form is only for the P.O.Box place to hold my mail, so I have to back to the P.O.Box place to pick up my mail from the lady who likes to open peoples mails. IT'S INSANE!!!People at this US Post office location has NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE DOING!! They just give you an answer to make you go away. They know they can't be reprimanded or fire because they're protected by their labor union.Other things they done:1)They returned items that I ordered online back to the senders for no reason on at least 4 occasions. The sender and I had no idea what's going on. Just that our package is flowing around in the postal system.2) When you ring that bell and if you're lucky, they will open the window within 20 minutes.3) When someone does come to serve you at the window, they have NO IDEA what they're doing. One worker actually admitted to me she doesn't work the window and have no idea what she's doing.

Giving a 3 because there were no clear signs of where to park nor the entrance. Most staffs are within the warehouse. There are no one to ask for guidance really.Fortunately I was there near closing, there were some staffs that were getting off work, asked for directions and found the service window.Rang twice and had to wait for a bit for the staff to respond to the bell.Overall somewhat helpful, definitely not the most friendly and efficient post office/warehouse in general.

They insist you ring the bell only once when you arrive, but then they make you wait upwards of 10 minutes. No exaggeration. I've been in a line of 5 people waiting here, and someone had to call for ask for someone to help us because they completely ignored the bell, which we ended up ringing 3 times to get their attention.Additionally, they won't hold onto items long, I had to schedule redelivery for a letter because I didn't pick it up the second it arrived, I went two days later.

Been there three times, and always managed to go in and out in less than 5 minutes. I can't make sense of the poor reviews. People should take the time to read the posted signs and instructions, instead of ranting about lack of your typical full retail experience----at a non-retail location. This is a PICK-UP only location; just show up with your delivery & address info and ID.
