Trying to call the pharmacy is the worst thing in the world. The people helping are lovely and is by no means their fault, but if you get put on HOLD, the call forwards you somewhere else after a few minutes then automatically hangs up on you so you'll need to redial again. I don't mind actually holding, but why the hell does the holding service hang up on you? That's outrageous.

I can't stand this pharmacy. We live 2 minutes away and have to use walgreens because of insurance. In 10 years of using them, 100% of the time they text me with a prescription ready...suprise it's not ready. Exactly never has it been ready. This week I experienced the pharmacy manager yelling at an old man who was frustrated with their poor service. They didn't have his insulin, and she couldn't care less and told him not to come back...ever. As a healthcare worker, I was embarrassed at how poorly he was treated. Just shameful.

The photo printing service staff in this store has serious racial discrimination. I came to print photos today, but she saidno. She asked me to go to cvs supermarket to print photos. If I want to print photos, I need to bring someone here. She is unprofessional and has a stiff facial expression. I don't recommend this shop and drive customers out. Does the owner of this shop know this? I chose network service. It's the same store or her. I got the photos half an hour later.

Came in to pick up a prescription that was already paid for and really shoudve been able to run in and out but there was a huge line. When someone asked the on of the 5 pharmacy staff that was filling prescriptions in the back if they could help out to go through the line, the lady pharmacist just said “We’re short staffed nothing I can do!” And threw her hands up. Well guess what she could’ve done is just jumped on a register and helped some paying customers. BE RESPECTFUL OF PEOPLES TIME! Be respectful to your customers when there are more than 3 people in line open another register. You aren’t short staffed I counted 5 people working in the pharmacy you just don’t want to check people out. DO BETTER!

This pharmacy actually has the medication in stock for my husband (diabetic). Our regular pharmacy could not keep it in stock.

Came in for a prescription around 11:30 am and was told that they wouldn’t be able to help me after 2pm. I did let them know it was important and asked to see a manager, still couldn’t be helped out. I came in an hour later and Heather was able to quickly work on my prescription, I appreciate that she didn’t dismiss my urgency and was able to get that started for me. Thank you so much for being kind Heather, you have a very nice and soothing aura ✨??

Terrible customer service. Repeatedly they text that a Rx is ready. However, time after time the Rx is not ready on arrival and they give a standard “ it’ll be ready in 20 minutes”. I guess it’s my fault for not changing pharmacies sooner… but as of today I’m officially out of here.I recommend a different provider.

After having a terrible experience phoning in an Rx at the Walgreens in Encinitas, the call was answered quickly and the pharmacist was able to locate and pull the medication for my patient to have them pick it up quickly. Thank you!

Very, very long pharmacy wait times. They have a pre-recorded in-store announcement asking people to “be kind” about the staff shortages, which indicates to me that they know it’s a problem but have decided to do nothing meaningful to address.

If there would be zero stars, I would give them. The absolutely worst farmacy you can get. Waiting fir hours and still being able to get your medicine is normal here.

Quick visit to pharmacy to fill a prescription and buy a few things. Everyone I interacted with was very helpful. Coming in the evening when the store was less busy meant no wait at both the pharmacy and register. Easy in and out!

Giving 5 stars primarily for Cherish (but for the other actual pharmacists too). She is SOOO!:-highly knowledgeable on meds/insurance/coupons-(most importantly) friendly and patient ALWAYS AND EVERY TIME! This (and the lack of it at so many other pharmacies) has made THIS SPECIFIC Walgreens my absolute go to.

This Walgreens has always been wonderful!Some other drug stores closed recently and sent their prescriptions over to this Walgreens but they didn't send more staff. The pharmacist are working as hard as they can and they're always very kind and do not complain about their load. I asked when I knew the near-by store closed. Since then I heard on the news about another store that sent their customers over.I enjoy doing my monthly shopping at this Walgreens because it always has what I want even things I was buying at a variety of other stores - even grocery stores. Now just one stop, easy parking and not crowded or stressful. Clean. They always have something new and I can get a treat for me and my family. My daughter shops there too and loves it. We are not having to run around to four or five other stores. ? Thank you Walgreens and staff!I have tried other pharmacies. Walgreens is the best. I did go through the computer problems here when they first received all of the new descriptions. I just remembered what it was like when I worked and there were difficult situations. So I have empathy for the employees there.

Terrible pharmacy. Zero if I could. The phone/computer system consistently loses my refill requests. I now have to sit on hold to talk to a person or go into the store to put in a refill request because my last four prescription requests haven’t been filled. This happens even with the “automatic refill” confirmation calls I get from them. I know it’s not just me because I’ve been there on a Saturday when there was a line of at least 10 people that had collected while the pharmacy was late reopening from a meal break. Several people in front of me said they’d gotten text or voicemail notifications that their prescriptions were ready but they’d somehow gotten “lost in the system.”Some of the pharmacy staff are polite but there’s enough that are unfriendly or even rude enough to where I’d prefer to use the system rather than wait to interact with a human, but that’s become entirely unreliable for the reasons I’ve already discussed. Everything about this place is unpleasant and inconvenient. The only reason I come here is because my insurance had a contract with Walgreens and I had discounted copays. It’s not even worth it anymore so I’m switching to MedRx.
