Blue Playground in Golden Gate Park is an underrated gem and a wonderful neighborhood playground. It is very safe, clean, and not too crowded, perfect for kids ages 0–8. It features fun play structures, swings, slides, and a climbing structure. Its sheltered location is great on foggy or windy days. A special charm is the live jazz heard nearby on Sunday mornings. The main downside is the lack of public restrooms nearby. Still, it is a great spot for families.
