Mothers Meadow

Mothers Meadow is a lovely and beautiful park with a nice playground for kids ages 2–10. The playground is clean, well-maintained, and swell, with a good mix of play structures including swings, slides, and more. It is mostly for children 2 years and older. The area is very accessible by car with free street parking nearby, though it is close to a street so care is advised. The park offers much more than the playground. It features a surrounding hill, dale, meadow, and forest with nice views. There is a long walking trail, an open field to walk and run your dog, and a short uphill path to a lake. Dogs can be off-leash if they behave well. It is a good place for picnics with picnic tables and benches, though tables are usually reserved on weekends. Visitors can also sit on the grass with a blanket. Public restrooms are available and open during the daytime, and there is drinking water access. The park is a good place for kids to play, for birthday parties, reading, picnics, or simply relaxing under the big trees. On weekdays it is emptier and nice for relaxation, while on weekends it can be crowded. An unusual little house on a tree can be found across from the playground.
