Very affordable stay in downtown SF. We live nearby in Newark, but wanted to experience a 1N stay in SF. Thanks to AmEx Platinum’s FHR, had several other small perks to make the stay comfortable. Rooms are small or at least our configuration, but otherwise happy with rest of the hotels amenities.

David in the bar is great. Rooms need renovation but they’re going to start soon it seems, as they just did the lobby. Good service, good Amex benefits. Way cheaper than other 4/5 star hotels and still great quality, so I usually stay here.
