Castro Village Wine Co. is a great local wine shop specializing in California wines. It offers a very well curated selection with wines at all different price points, including many reasonably priced and sub-$20 bottles. The shop carries a good cross-section of wineries from all of California's growing regions. It features a small, well-curated liquor selection and a cooler of chilled whites. The friendly and helpful staff offers tasting flights and wine by the glass on the weekends at their small tasting bar. It is a lovely neighborhood go-to shop definitely worth a visit.

We had an amazing experience here! Joseph recommended us some great Californian wines and it was so interesting and fun to chat with him while drinking some really nice glasses of wine. What a beautiful shop and great atmosphere - thank you, Joseph!
