Comfort Inn By the Bay is a highly recommended hotel known for its friendly and helpful staff. Guests praise the reception team, especially Jonathan, Terry, Jean, and Eva, for their quick check-in and accommodating service that makes stays easy and enjoyable. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with some guests enjoying the great views, including one with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge from an eighth-floor room. While the rooms are not very large, they are functional, with clean bathrooms that have hot water and good water pressure. The hotel offers secure, gated underground parking at a reasonable price, which guests find convenient, especially for exploring the area late into the evening. Its location is considered ideal, close to restaurants, stores, Fisherman's Wharf, and a nearby bus stop, making it easy to explore the city. Although not directly on the wharf, it’s within walking distance, and the proximity to key attractions adds to the value. Overall, Comfort Inn By the Bay provides a decent, safe, and comfortable stay with friendly service and great accessibility.
The walls are thin and the a lot of the city noises can be heard from even from the 10th and 11th floor.
If you are a light sleeper this place might be a challenge but other than the noise it is a typical Comfort Inn

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed, if not the best, I got upgraded to a corner suite (for a fee) but it was well worth it!. Service is second to none, in my opinion, a true 5 star hotel.
