Duc Loi Supermarket is a centrally located Asian food staple in the Mission District on the corners of 18th and Mission Streets, open late. The store is well-stocked with various pantry items, typical American, Latin, and Asian products. The quality of food is still great. However, prices are high on staples and the store is on the expensive side. The selection is adequate and good, though the spice selection is limited and fruits and vegetables always look so sad, sometimes with a barrier to seeing freshness. The store has an unpleasant smell. The clerks are always nice, though shopping can be an interesting and frustrating experience.
