“I brought in quite a few pieces—three necklaces (two needed new clasps, one had a broken clasp I really wanted to keep), three silver rings that needed resizing, and a platinum tennis bracelet from Brilliant Earth that other places told me couldn’t be resized.
Edwin knocked every single piece out of the park. The rings were perfectly enlarged and polished to a shine—I wasn’t expecting that, and they honestly look brand new. The necklace clasps are flawless and blend right in, and Edwin was able to repair the broken clasp on my David Yurman necklace while keeping the original.
Most impressive was the tennis bracelet—other shops told me resizing wasn’t possible, but Edwin made it look absolutely seamless. You can’t even tell it was touched.
The quality of the work is top-notch, and the pricing was more than reasonable. Everything came back looking even better than when I dropped it off. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only skilled but truly cares about the pieces you bring in, I cannot recommend this shop enough.”

“Coming to La Bijouterie was a healing experience, to say the least. We came to Set for a new beginning after a traumatic incident regarding our original ring. Last year, we had originally gone to our family jeweler (in LA) of 20 years to reset our ring for our 20th anniversary. He basically disappeared with our diamond, cash, and our trust. We were heartbroken over the 20 years of memories that were stolen from us, and my kind husband was so upset but he decided to save up for another diamond and surprised me with the option to reset our ring again. This time we did our research and found Set, who listened to our story and he treated us so kindly and compassionately. After just a few short weeks, we had designed the ring I had been dreaming of. When I went to see it for the first time I expected to have a few edits or corrections, but it was literally PERFECT. I had NOTHING I wanted to change and it was EXACTLY everything I wanted and more. Set himself was amazing to work with and he is so good at what he does (he always had a nonstop stream of clients every time we came in). I’m so so so happy we found Set and we are so glad he is now a part of our ring’s (and anniversary) story. I will be recommending Set to anyone and everyone.”

I was sad because I was so set on getting a bracelet that day. I found Amare online and called. The supervisor answered and provided information and told me to come on by. The staff, Leah (I believe was her name and how you spell it) was absolutely the sweetest! She was so friendly and answered all questions. She was so attentive and kind. I will get more bracelets and I will defintely come back!”

“I worked with Linda and the Carats & Stones team for our engagement ring, and simply cannot say enough great things about my experience.
I explored every option out there: from high end luxury retailers, to online players, to wholesalers at the diamond exchange. Carats & Stones offered the elegance of high end retail without the brand markup, the uniqueness of a boutique, and the customization of endless options; they could access any stone I could find online -- and then some! -- for us to *actually see in person* before purchasing. We did a yellow diamond, which was a bit more challenging. Linda and her team were patient, knowledgeable, meticulous, discerning, and budget conscious. I wanted to be very hands on during the process, and they not only embraced that, but guided and educated me along the way.
When you spend a lot on something, you want to walk away feeling like you selected the right path; I am certain that I did by going with Carats & Stones. “I'm not big on reviews, but my experience with Godofredo warranted a shoutout. I went to two other jewelry repair places for an estimate on fixing my bracelet (spring in the lobster claw broke). Both estimates came in at $300 to replace the clasp. Alfred fixed the bracelet by replacing the spring for $30 - and fixed it in under 24 hours. Nice, professional, and fair.”
