“What a great laundromat! Dropped off late afternoon for next morning pick up. So friendly and convenient, walking distance from my hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf. I wish this place was in my neighborhood back home in Seattle. Highly recommend for travelers that need a quick load done!”

“Wasn’t too crowded when I went at 8:30am on a Thursday. They use an app called PayRange which you can use to pay for the washer and dryer. If you want detergent or dryer sheets you should bring your own or bring change. The detergent dispenser only takes coins. And the change machine only takes bills. I accidentally loaded $25 on to pay range and they refunded me in seconds. I had to pay twice for a washer load because it didn’t start the first time and they refunded me for that too. Good experience over all.”
“I brought in four shirts and a jacket for alterations, and they did an amazing job! The jacket was tricky with its uneven hem and mix of materials (cotton outer layer and insulated inside), but they handled it perfectly. Exceedingly friendly service both at drop-off and pick-up. The timeline they gave was accurate, they answered their phone when I called to confirm my stuff was ready. Highly recommend!”

“Neighborhood stand-by with reliable service and reasonable prices. It's hard to find good dry cleaners in my experience, but this is one, at least it has been for me. They closed for a while for a sizemic retrofit, and I missed them while they were closed and happy when they reopened.”

“So last week I went to 3 other cleaners and none of them would take my coat, it's an expensive coat and I needed to fix 2 patches my dog did. So I understood why they didn't feel comfortable. She took it, looked at it, seen the damage, gave me a solution, and 1 week later, u can't even tell at all my coat had alterations done. Awesome, amazing job. Best cleaners in San Francisco. Better than the one on Leland, Mission, and Geneva.”
“Have been going to them for years. Everything from coats to leather jackets, although they clearly explain the third party leather cleaner they works with. Friendly service, consistent solid prices and excellent work. They do tailoring as well, small to medium sized jobs, hemming to jacket liner replacement. I live in SOMA and make the trip to the Filmore to visit Progress, worth it every time. A fantastic small family business.”

“I highly recommend getting your alterations done here if you're local! This place is run by the two sweetest couple. They were both so nice and helpful when I was trying to get a few pairs of jeans hemmed. One of the jeans that I brought in had some metal buttons in spots that had to be hemmed so she recommended me to not get them hemmed because it would ruin the look of the jeans. I really appreciated that! Will definitely come back again in the future to get anything hemmed.”

Unlike the other laundromats in the area that are terribly managed, maintained or expensive to wash or dry your clothes at (the place that charges two minutes per quarter to dry your clothes is ridiculous).This place has clean machines, are a good value, they work well and do the job. Not overpriced and clean and dry you clothes effectively.Every laundromat is going to have a machine down occasionally. “Rainbow cleaners has been my dry cleaner for10 years and have never made a mistake, it is perfect every time. I've brought a variety of challenges to Sabrina and she has always been super diligent. On stubborn stains, she'll even ask for me to leave the garment for longer so she can try more stain removal methods. I appreciate her attention to detail and professional knowledge and diligence. Of course, she always has a smile on her face and a warm greeting. I highly recommend Rainbow Cleaner and Sabrina!”
“This is my first time using a wash and fold service and I'm very happy with my results so far. $2.25/lb with a min of 10 lbs. If you bring it before 12 pm, they'll have it ready for you same day (usually by 3pm). I've done the wash and fold service a couple times, and I love how they fold and pack the clothes. I've also had some dry cleaning done and they did a great job doing that as well. The service is always top notch and they're so friendly. Would recommend this place to all my friends and family!”

Double washers are nine dollars, and single washers are seven dollars. That’s a lot of quarters to wrangle. Please consider updating your equipment to a card system Greenwich Clean Time!

The dress in this photo was my mother's but needed careful modifications to make it fit me like a glove--and Nina rose to the occasion, even sewing a beautiful, matching organza sash to drape at the waist in the back. This was my second visit to One Hour Cleaners, and once again, I’m beyond impressed!
A few weeks ago, I came in for a shirt alteration — they handled it on the spot for just $15. Quick, efficient, and perfectly done! Today, I returned with my beloved Giants shirt, which had a very noticeable stain. I spoke with one of the staff members, and he confidently told me to bring it in.
To my surprise, he worked his magic — and now it looks like a brand-new Giants shirt! On top of that, I had my blazer professionally washed, dried, and ironed — and the results are just flawless.
The entire team at One Hour Cleaners is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. In a city as expensive as San Francisco, finding great service at a reasonable price is rare — and they truly delivered.
