The jacket was tricky with its uneven hem and mix of materials (cotton outer layer and insulated inside), but they handled it perfectly. Exceedingly friendly service both at drop-off and pick-up. “So last week I went to 3 other cleaners and none of them would take my coat, it's an expensive coat and I needed to fix 2 patches my dog did. So I understood why they didn't feel comfortable. She took it, looked at it, seen the damage, gave me a solution, and 1 week later, u can't even tell at all my coat had alterations done. Awesome, amazing job. Best cleaners in San Francisco. “OK, so here’s why I love the Laundry Hub. My mom is 88 years old and physically handicapped. Doing laundry herself has become nearly impossible. The convenience and the wonderful service the Laundry Hub (and Brian) offer has been a godsend because it continues to allow her to live independently while still taking care of herself. Everyone, from the owner to deliveries, is extremely helpful and polite.

“Have been going to them for years. Everything from coats to leather jackets, although they clearly explain the third party leather cleaner they works with. Friendly service, consistent solid prices and excellent work. They do tailoring as well, small to medium sized jobs, hemming to jacket liner replacement. I live in SOMA and make the trip to the Filmore to visit Progress, worth it every time. A fantastic small family business.”

“I highly recommend getting your alterations done here if you're local! This place is run by the two sweetest couple. They were both so nice and helpful when I was trying to get a few pairs of jeans hemmed. One of the jeans that I brought in had some metal buttons in spots that had to be hemmed so she recommended me to not get them hemmed because it would ruin the look of the jeans. I really appreciated that! Will definitely come back again in the future to get anything hemmed.”

“Best laundromat I've ever gone to. Yesterday, I dropped a massive sack of laundry at their front office before it was open. I had to run off to an appointment and planned to call and tell them that I wanted their wash and fold service... Fast forward, I forgot to call them and it was nearing the end of the day, so I walked over to apologize for leaving a massive sack and no instructions.
Turns out, they had watched back the store's video recording, seen it was me, gone ahead and done the wash and fold, and were finishing it up right then for me. Then to top it all off, they insisted that the load was too large for me to walk home myself (I am pregnant and in my 3rd trimester) and one of the owners walked the massive sack back to my house on a cart with me up a hill.
Exemplary service! Once my renovation is done, part of my doesn't even want to use our new washer and dryer we are putting in because I love the ease and customer service of this laundromat so much.”

“This is my first time using a wash and fold service and I'm very happy with my results so far. $2.25/lb with a min of 10 lbs. If you bring it before 12 pm, they'll have it ready for you same day (usually by 3pm). I've done the wash and fold service a couple times, and I love how they fold and pack the clothes. I've also had some dry cleaning done and they did a great job doing that as well. The service is always top notch and they're so friendly. Would recommend this place to all my friends and family!”

This was my second visit to One Hour Cleaners, and once again, I’m beyond impressed!
A few weeks ago, I came in for a shirt alteration — they handled it on the spot for just $15. Quick, efficient, and perfectly done! Today, I returned with my beloved Giants shirt, which had a very noticeable stain. I spoke with one of the staff members, and he confidently told me to bring it in.
To my surprise, he worked his magic — and now it looks like a brand-new Giants shirt! On top of that, I had my blazer professionally washed, dried, and ironed — and the results are just flawless.
The entire team at One Hour Cleaners is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. In a city as expensive as San Francisco, finding great service at a reasonable price is rare — and they truly delivered.
