About Maple Leaf Lounge
The Maple Leaf Lounge is a beautiful and well-designed space located in Terminal 2 at SFO. It is known for being very clean, with excellent facilities and bathrooms. A key feature is its large outdoor patio and lovely terrace, which offers a breathtaking view overlooking the runways. The lounge is generally not crowded, providing ample and relaxing space for both small groups and solo travellers, and is a pleasant alternative to busier clubs. The food offerings are described as good and decent for a non-business class lounge, with a decent variety that includes enjoyable evening sliders and decent hot breakfast items like eggs. However, the continental breakfast can be limited and disappointing, with notes on small hard bagels. The bar does not open before 11am, which may disappoint those seeking morning drinks. Overall, it is considered an excellent location with polite staff, superior cleanliness, and excellent food choices compared to some other lounges, making it a recommended and enjoyable choice for Star Alliance Gold members during a layover.

This brand-new lounge is super clean and offers a good variety of food options. If you can, it's definitely a good choice to visit while you wait for your flight.

First time flying United out of SFO Terminal 2. No United Club but the pleasant surprise was that we went into the Maple Leaf Lounge as Air Canada is part of Star Alliance. Not crowded like the United Clubs at SFO often are.
