Mirage Inn & Suites is noted for its great location, close to Ocean Beach, the zoo, Golden Gate Park, and great restaurants. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable with recent or refurbished furnishings, including large bathrooms. The vintage building does not have an elevator. Off-street or underground parking is included, though the parking garage can be tight for larger vehicles. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. While the staff received mixed reviews, some guests found them super helpful. A few minor issues were mentioned, including strong cleaning product smells and occasional low water pressure in sinks. Overall, it is considered a great find and a good value.
Staff were really kind and accommodating even after our card declined the room payment on the day of check-in. Very grateful to the woman who stayed late to fix it and check us in.
