Palihotel San Francisco is an exceptional, charming, and pretty boutique hotel in the center of the city, right next to Union Square. It is unique, with its own character, soul, and a lot of charm. The hotel is stylish, modern, and very well decorated, and is one of the best smelling places. The rooms are clean, comfortable, cozy, and of good taste. They are a good size, though some are small, with comfy beds and pillows. Bathrooms are great with walk-in showers and nice Diptyque soaps, though some have no shower door. The hotel provides good pastries, bread, milk, and coffee in the mornings. The location is great and very convenient, right on the cusp of epic San Francisco grit, with a bus stop in front. The area feels safe. Service is friendly and accommodating, with great concierge service. It can be pretty quiet, though noise may be loud in the early morning; earplugs are provided. The hotel offers a lovely and romantic experience with a lot of quirk and charm.
Super charming hotel with very friendly and helpful staff! My room was cozy, but perfect for 2 nights while in town for work. This was a really nice change from your typical big chain hotel!
