Presidio Golf Course is a well-maintained and conveniently located golf course in the city, making it an accessible choice for local golfers. It offers plenty of parking and a very good driving range, although some players find the artificial grass turf at the range less appealing. The course features beautiful views and interesting, well-kept holes, making it a scenic and enjoyable place to play. Many reviews highlight the greens, which are immaculate, and the overall course condition, especially during weekdays when tee times are easier to secure. The course is described as not overly challenging, with open fairways and minimal water hazards, but it does present a challenge on the greens, where putting can be tough. It’s a popular spot for lessons and clinics, with professional instructors providing detailed and accessible instruction that helps players improve their game. The course's ambiance is appreciated, and it is especially recommended for walking, as the terrain includes some elevation changes and narrow fairways requiring accurate swings. It is also suitable for tournaments and charity events, with a good pace of play. Though carts are available, some advise against rental carts unless physically struggling with elevation, as cart zones are restrictive. Overall, Presidio Golf Course is praised for its scenic beauty, well-maintained grounds, and friendly, accessible atmosphere, making it a favorite for both casual and serious golfers.
Played a charity tournament, best ball. Unbelievable course, not overly challenging until you putt, pretty open, no water hazards really. They have this course in top notch shape. The greens are immaculate ?. Very challenging putting made it a fun day when we finally made some putts.

Not the San Francisco course I wanted to play, but glad I did. Pace of play was good for a weekend. Facilities and grounds were in great shape. Pretty good price for a bay area course as a non sf resident.

Beautiful course, very tough bunkering around the greens, we even saw a coyote crossing a fairway.
