“I created a yelp account just to write about how incredible my service at Janene's this week was! When I visited their sample sale last week without an appointment, I was extremely nervous for my first time bridal shopping. My stylist Austin was a true gem - so thoughtful, kind and patient while I tried things on. They even helped me accessorize to further envision what the full look would be. As a gay bride, Austin was so inclusive and helpful. As long as Austin is working here, I would strongly recommend this shop to others!”

“This place took me by surprise how Big it is in person! The tall columns are what make the beautiful architecture stand out. Its a public place you can walk around at no cost! I had the pleasure of taking photos here for an awesome couple.”

“We planned our school community day with 70+ attendees and food from That’s Amore. The kids had a blast! The event was handled so efficiently and expertly. Sandy, our party organizer, was so essential to smooth planning and execution. She kept in close contact during the party. Sandy even made us a decor banner including our logos! WOW! The Little Oceanauts team took care of everything: from bringing materials and and drinks from the car, setting up the party room including decor and presentation materials, and then packing up afterwards. It allowed our party organizers to mingle instead of worry about the logistics. Thank you Little Oceanauts team!”

“Dynamico is a beautiful and quiet coworking space and, most importantly, a very friendly community. I've been here more than a dozen times and always enjoyed my interactions with Dani, JR, and the everyone else.”

“Amazing venue tucked into Valencia St in the Mission. Upstairs bar had no line, not a bad spot to stand anywhere in the small house. Highly recommend! Grab dinner nearby. Easy walk from 16th/Mission BART.”

“This is the first place we ate on our trip, and it set the bar HIGH we absolutely loved it. They had some awesome gf options!I started with the house made lemonade and was absolutely in love. The perfect lemonade, I wish it had been free refills because I would’ve drank 7 cups at least. Then we had the tarp chips with siracha aioli and was pleasantly surprised how well the earthy chips with the tangy sauce went together. Yum!I had the steak frites with truffle fries and it was phenomenal! My husband had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and said it was one of the best he’d ever had! (And he has tried lots of chicken sandwiches!)10/10 would eat here again the staff was so friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home. Dietary restrictions: They had awesome attitudes and were very knowledgeable and willing to make alterations to dishesKid-friendliness: While kids could definitely eat here, the vibe is much more geared towards adults.”

“It’s cute but it’s definitely only for kids. If you don’t have a kid or aren’t a kid then don’t bother paying the $45 ticket. Go to the academy of sciences instead”

“Moscone Center is 2 blocks south of Market street and 4th street. There used to be also Moscone North and South, make sure you know which one is your venue. The Moscone center is newly updated and easily reachable by BART, SFMTA and Uber. I would not recommend renting a car, parking is a pain here and expensive $50-80 a day with area hotels.”

“I was wandering along in San Francisco on my way to visit the bookbinder museum when I met the owner of The Box SF, Mark. When I told him I was interested in books and other historical items, he graciously invited me to enter his shop. The outside is discrete and belies how magical the inside space truly is. When you enter, you're immediately blown away by the vintage art and artifacts everywhere. Mark and his assistant, Israel, gave me a mini-tour and explained how the shop specializes in ephemera, which refers to items that were designed for short-term use (advertising prints, perfume bottles, soap labels, etc). The shop contains items from the mid-1800s to the early-1900s from around the world. Everything is in great condition and attests to the craftsmanship of earlier time periods. What was supposed to be a quick 20-30 minute visit turned into a 2-hour visit.Everywhere you turn, there's something new to take in. I love antique and thrift stores, yet I have never encountered anything as unique as The Box. I found some souvenirs to take home with me and even the wrapping paper was this cool, historical print. The Box is a treasure trove for people who love vintage, antique, or novel artifacts. If that's your style, you have to visit.”

“Staff are great, specifical team the checked me in at late afternoon helpful, and pleasant, and well organized. I found it welcoming and lobby area had plently if information abiut sites and places to eat in the area, with everything posted in a engaging fun way, yet profession and lobby and hallways very clean. Did a walk around inspection of the kichen, dinning/common area, bathroom, TV area and everything was exteremly clean and well cared for. I stayed in 5 room (3 others besides myself) and room was clean. Llinens offered were professional laundered and I like new/perfect condition. Many noteable San Fransico sites I found to be within a 1-2 walkable distance. I will definitely stay here when I must travel SF for medical appointments, and recommend to others! Must appreciation to the hard-working staff.”

“No pix as I was there for a birthday celebration and we came to sing! Sara checked us in and led us upstairs to our private karaoke room. Plenty of room for 9 people. The song selection is pretty decent to my eye, except the songbook of Tom Waits is sadly lacking. Couldn't figure out how to get to YouTube for some more selections, but no worries, we made do. Downstairs there was a DJ for the hoi-polloi and the soundproofing was excellent. The menu upstairs leaves off mention that they actually have a full bar so I was able to avoid the shoju in favor of bourbon. Woot! The spicy almonds were pretty good. I was pretty full from pizza earlier so that was all I tried.”

“Great beer and wonderful staff. One of the best games to play is when you're in the bathroom and there happens to be someone in the stall keeping really quiet until you leave. When you've done you're thing and you're on your way out pretend to leave. Open the door and close it again. That person in the stall will think you've left and they'll let it rip. Most people will have been holding it back, probably gripping the sides of the toilet, waiting for you to leave and when its released it'll make a hell of a noise. You can then laugh all the way back to your beer knowing that you caught them at their most vulnerable. Sometimes I just make the fart noise and then leave. It's up to you how you play it.”

“I come here for swing dance lessons, and it is really fun. The live bands at the end makes this place so fun to be at. People will go around to look for partners to dance with, and it is a great way to practice, leading or following. It looks like they have other dance types on other days of the week too.I agree with the other post where they said that it gets hot and stuffy. I wish that they would serve bar snacks because I often have to come before I even get dinner and walking around to the nearest Safeway wasn’t a great jaunt in nice clothing.Highly recommend anyone looking to learn and find a dance community here.”

“I recently attended a new age rendition of Cinderella put on my the African American Shakespeare Company at the Herbst Theater and it was wonderful. The staff at the theater was friendly, warm, and eager to help attendees. The space is beautiful, clean, and has great acoustics. If you ever have an opportunity to visit the Herbst Theater you won't regret it.”

“Beautiful grounds, especially with night lights. Seats in theater were comfy and leaned back. Exit was a little confusing because it brought us out away from the parking lot.”

“My coworkers and I chose this place for a going away and had a great experience. The couple who owns this place are delightful people, and they were so incredibly accommodating and attentive to our large group. The sakes we sampled were all really good, very reasonably priced, and generously poured, all with thorough and informative descriptions by the owners. I found it especially cool to have the opportunity to taste sakes that would usually be unavailable outside of Japan, due to short shelf lives and refrigeration requirements. Highly recommend checking this place out; arrive early to easily grab a table.”

“One of the most hospitable, welcoming, authentic Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful with their recommendations. the ambiance was great, with live music. The piano player was very skilled, and I enjoyed talking music with him at the conclusion of our dinner. The food was excellent. My tortellini were crafted brilliantly, and the lasagna was masterfully delicious. I recommend taking this culinary journey of Italian cuisine as a celebration of life, love and/or family.”

“I recently visited the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park and had a fantastic experience overall. The museum offers a wealth of knowledge and exhibits covering everything from land to forests, seas, and human history. I truly enjoyed exploring and learning from the various displays. However, I did have a disappointing experience when entering the rainforest exhibit. The air quality inside the rainforest made both myself and my friend feel dizzy and gave us headaches. It seemed like there might have been some chemicals or irritants in the air that caused discomfort. This was a downside to an otherwise enjoyable visit.Despite this issue, I appreciated the vast amount of information and interactive displays throughout the museum. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I would recommend a visit to the California Academy of Sciences for anyone interested in learning more about the natural world.”

“DecantSF transcends the typical wine shop experience, —it's a vibrant hub of inclusivity, education, and community right in San Francisco's core. As a woman-owned business, it exudes a refreshing sense of empowerment and inclusivity that sets it apart from the rest. Co-owners and Sommeliers Cara and Simi enrich every visit with their expertise, offering an accessible range of delightful wines and snacks tailored to any budget or palate. Moreover, their dedication to supporting fellow small businesses shines through, reflected in their vibrant lineup of engaging events hosted at the bar.”

“10/10 would recommend the Party Table, located inside the Pasta Shop, especially if you're looking for something intimate with friends. This is what I did for my birthday and it was a lovely experience. The chef's selection was an array of dishes. It felt like food and wine just kept coming to our table. Initially, I was looking for a place that could accommodate a table for 10 which seemed almost impossible in SF, or at least the restaurants I enjoy eating at. To add, I'm not the biggest fan of eating Italian at restaurants or tasting menus / small plates. So I took a big gamble when I made reservations with Penny Roma...but I'm so glad I did! Each dish was flavorful, the service was attentive, and the environment was chill.”

“My friend wanted to celebrate her 40th at Bimbo's dancing the night away to an 80s cover band called "Mustache Harbor." I was not prepared for this fun crowd and venue! The audience was decked out in their best yacht club outfits, the venue had "luau" themed decorations and stick on mustaches. Our large group had two tables that spilled into an adjacent one. One of the workers pointed to a sign (it was saved for ADA patrons). We moved immediately. The club filled up and it was tricky navigating the tables and dance floor. If it bothers you having strangers walk up to your table to set down their empty glasses I would recommend getting a table away from the dance floor. The sound, disco ball, and vibes were at an all time high. If only these Bimbo walls could talk I'm sure they'd have some wild stories.”

“Pick a show and go. It's going to be great. Good for your ears, eyes and heart. Great neighborhood/community live music venue to go with a date or a few cool friends or any family that wants to see and hear an artist pour their heart into their craft because they have to and they love to. Cool vibe. Part art gallery, part theater. Beer, wine, kombucha, sodas, cider, seltzers, NA beers, water. Friendly bar staff. :) ADA accessible with an elevator. Great room sound too. Standup comedy, magicians, poetry or performance art some nights too. Really varies. Pick a show and go.”

“One of our favorite places to grab a drink and a bite before going out to the clubs to dance. They've got phone chargers to borrow and great hospitality. And omg the food is good, not too greasy like some spots are, and the taquitos are probably my favorite in SF. Awesome drinks too!! Great margs if you're feeling boozy and great agua Fresca if you're not. And a super cozy setting with cute "stained glass" of margaritas and birds on the windows and warm lighting and lots of smiles inside. And I loooove the rice and beans. Mmmm.”

“Stopped by for a late night cocktail and dessert. The cocktails were wonderful and our table tried an assortment. I really enjoyed the Punch Flight. We had Churros and Vanilla Gelato for dessert and it was strictly average, the first batch of churros were under cooked and still doughy, we sent them back and the replacements weren't really much better. But the atmosphere is fun and the service was excellent. I would have like to have returned but ran out of time.”

“Great experience with Club Sportiva! I rented their Bentley convertible while in Napa and it was so much fun. It felt very safe - Anthony wore a mask and stayed 6 feet away during the touchlessDrop off and pickup process at my hotel. Sia and Anthony were responsive and helpful through the whole process. I'll definitely be contacting them again when I'm in the area!”
