The SF Plaza Hotel offers a prime location that is convenient for solo travelers and couples. The rooms, while a bit dated, provide basic amenities like a microwave, fridge, and TV. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is within walking distance of many tourist attractions, making it a good value for those who plan to spend most of their time out exploring the city. The hotel has both positive and negative aspects. On the plus side, it offers comfortable beds, an excellent shower, and a low price point. However, some guests have reported issues with noise, stained carpets, and a lack of coffee/tea service. Additionally, rooms on lower floors facing Chinatown can be affected by homeless individuals in the area, which the hotel does not seem to address effectively. Overall, the SF Plaza Hotel is a decent option for those seeking an affordable, centrally located stay in San Francisco, though it may not meet the expectations of those looking for a more modern or well-maintained hotel experience.
Hotel is at a great location you can easily get on MUNI or BART within a 10 minute walk or less. Rooms are a little dated but clean. If you only need a place to sleep and shower this is the place for you. Will return again.

We booked a room with a fridge but first received one without. A staff member was kind enough to move us to another room and we absolutely loved our bed, the view and our stay. Very good location. Awesome staff. Would certainly stay here again.

Very expensive for what you get. Location is great, but otherwise pretty meh.
