The Academy SF is an LGBTQ+ social club and event space focused on promoting genuine social interactions. It is a lovely, well-decorated venue with multiple floors and a cozy, darkly lit bar area that gives speakeasy vibes. The space leads out to a large backyard patio with ample seating. It is a beautiful building with an upscale, moody feel, described as clean and beautiful with many great spots, offering two stories of places. It is an excellent and safe space to build community. The Academy offers a barber salon, a daytime co-working lounge called Academy Daylight, a day spa, and space available to rent for private events. It has a bunch of very cute rooms in two different buildings connected by an outdoor patio. The staff is patient and friendly. While some areas are for member access only, the space is open to the public for most events. It is a lovely party space with very good food and tons of fun potential, serving as an amazing space to host private events or do a photo shoot. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to apply.

Amazing space to do a photo shoot. So many great spots to pose and very clean and beautiful. Has a upscale moody feel that definitely seys it apart from other spaces 2 stories of places to take photos in. Would definitely go back again and shoot here.
