Rented a cargo van. The photos they provided on their end before I took off were inaccurate: it listed the same photo for the front of the vehicle as it did for the passenger side. There was a lot of damage on the passenger side. I attempted to upload this and submit (which you have to do to fulfill the contract), but it went nowhere. I go back in and talk to the same guy who checked me out, tell him there's an issue with their photos and I wanted to document damage they didn't account for. The guy told me I purchased insurance, that I didn't need to worry about it and that it was probably bc of the overpass that I didn't have connection. I disregarded him and took tons of photos. I walked back from the van back to the office and submitted an actual photo of the passenger side and submitted the contract and left. We emptied a storage unit and returned the van. Had it for less than 5 hours. Most of that time sitting on front of my garage. When I returned the van, the original guy was there but a new guy took my keys, asked if there were any problems. I said no and left. Got the receipt, and noticed a $195 charge for damages. Called customer service, filed a claim and after two weeks still haven't heard anything from these guys. Filing a complaint w my credit card to dispute the charge. Take photos! Document everything. If there's a situation like mine, have them look at it and photo them in front of it as you show them. Do **not** trust them.

Andrew's been a great help from this location. Service is great, polite and speedy. Uhaul app handles most of the onboarding and offboarding and I've found them to be pretty straightforward in explaining things and reasonable on returns. Worked with them 2x before with moving things, and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Overall, just pleasant people. Some homeless people are by the area so if you don't take pictures after you drop off the truck (which the app encourages you to do) you could be held liable for damages. Which I imagine is what happened in some of the negative cases in the reviews below!

This store is great, you can actually get parking there, the staff are very helpful and helped carry all the supplies to my car , every u-haul store basically tells you that there is a cart that you can take to your car, even though there is 5 employees sitting there doing nothing, while the cart is great not all the boxes fit in the cart, so it was extremely refreshing to go to this store and when I asked for a cart the guy said he would take the boxes to my car, and he did so thank you so much

Great place if you need boxes. Reasonably priced, and excellent customer service. They really helped me out when I needed some last minute boxes even though they were closing. Ask for John - he’s great!

Do not go here, seriously. I've used UHault a dozen times over the years but it would appear their practices have turned predatory. First of all, the service was glacially slow despite having a reservation ahead of time. For some reason, the person helping me decided to go off on a long, unprompted rant about local taxes, climate change, and how the world has seen 17 different ice ages, all because I mentioned I was driving to Palo Alto to pick up some furniture. (Apparently, he assumed I was making the trip to avoid taxes for some reason.) The big thing though was the surprise $288 charge for 'damages.' We,, paid for the insurance, and there were no incidents on the drive whatsoever. We arrived 15 minutes after closing and parked the vehicle in the store's parking lot. It was pouring rain, and it had been a long day, so I forgot to take photos of the van, and submit them through the app. So, of course, we were charged for unspecified 'damages' that magically appeared sometime after we dropped off the keys and for some reason aren't covered by the insurance. What a load of garbage. I'll definitely be renting elsewhere in the future.

I had a great experience until the final bill. The staff gave me a discounted rate to fill up the gas tank for them but the cost of gas was way more than the credit. In the end both the staff and manager on duty said it was not their problem so I overpaid. Lesson: don't go for any special offers they might give you in store- stick with what you booked on the website.

Manager was extremely inappropriate. He wanted to look in my phone at my text messages and was confrontational that I thought it was inappropriate. He said he needed to as he called the second number I gave him as an emergency contact and since no one picked up he couldn't "verify" it. He also called the number without asking me first. I've rented from this location multiple times before without incident. Won't return to this location again. Dude seems like a stalker.This was all before I even rented the vehicle as well! I had just walked in

Beware that if you book a Uhaul vehicles online you will be hit with an undisclosed additional charge when you go to pick it up. For us, this amounted to 10% of the total bill. UHaul uses a dishonest unacceptable business practice that keeps you from price shopping your options. Better to do business elsewhere if you can. As always with UHaul, you are a prisoner of their comprehensive self-protection policies - if something can be your fault, it will be.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Vehicle was in excellent condition. The cost was very reasonable. Pick-up and drop-off were easy and convenient.

All the trucks were completely out of gas. I’ve been told it should have had 1/4 of tank, but they get gas stolen during the night. Embarrassing. I put $60 of gas to reach a little bit more than 1/4 of tank, and I have been reimbursed only $20. Worst service ever received and not gonna come back here ever again

Wanted to leave a review for the employee Frank who helped me out today. He was EXTREMELY patient with a rude and annoying “customer” who was before me. 10/10 Customer service that the customer absolutely did not deserve. I hope Frank is recognized for his ability to do his job to the highest standard and just has a good day. Thank you Frank!
