Terrible experience. I tried Verizon for two months last year. I had brought my own phone, and the representative took it without my permission and hid in a back room for 10 minutes. Unnerved, I left and returned the next day to speak with the manager. They assured me they would speak to the representative.
I signed up for a business account, by the manager's recommendation. They hooked me by saying I could receive phone service and a laptop sim for $50 a month. The second month came, and the bill was $140, because they said that I needed to have a router for a business account (a router was not mentioned in my original purchase). I terminated the contract, and double checked that I had paid the contract in full.
Now, over a year later, I received an email from a collections agency saying they're collecting on behalf of Verizon.
The workers here are either scammers or horribly incompetent. Don't be surprised if they send goons after you because they made an accounting error.
I also have to point out the irony that a phone company has such terrible phone customer support. Try calling this location. You'll talk to an AI that informs you it hallucinates as it fails to answer your questions and refuses to connect you to an agent.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff,
especially Michael, who seemed completely unaware of the services and promotions they offer. The lack of basic customer service and product knowledge was shocking. I strongly recommend staying away from this place.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid this location if possible.
I’ve never had a worse experience at a Verizon store than at the one on 768 Market Street in San Francisco. The employees here are consistently rude, unhelpful, and act like they’re doing you a favor by speaking to you.
The store manager is especially dismissive and unprofessional—completely uninterested in solving customer issues or respecting anyone’s time. She acts like customer service is beneath her and sets the tone for the rest of the staff.
Be prepared to wait around while employees chat among themselves or brush off questions with attitude. It’s clear this location doesn’t value its customers at all. Save yourself the frustration and go to literally any other Verizon store.

They were very courteous about providing service concerning my new cellular internet for my apartment. Basically provided a workspace where I can call the corporate office to take care of the business.

Leaving a review at a random Verizon since I don’t know how else to express my frustration!
Bought the 100$/month international plan. Arrived in Hong Kong, data wasn’t working.
I called customer service and the phone chat bot said he would link me to an agent, so I clicked on the link on my phone it sent me and it linked me to a computer chat bot and then disconnected the phone call!!!! I just needed to talk to someone in person, and the chat bot was like “what type of plan do you need” etc, when in actuality I needed help because I was already in a foreign country and the plan I bought wasn’t working!! (Using the airport WiFi for this just FYI).
Such BS how much Verizon distances itself from customer service. So sad.
(Also their newest web design/ color scheme looks cheap and awful)

I wanted to do an early upgrade, the Lady didn’t know how to do it (she asked 3 people and nobody knew) after 5min she just left the table and went to help other guests. When I said I wanted to cancel the upgrade, she said thank you for leaving.
I went back later to pay my phone and move to another carrier and a guy that also speaks Spanish was really nice and helpful, so i guess go there if he is the one helping, everyone else in this location are not really helpful

Recently moved to the area from out of state and the representative named Janney helped get me set up with my two phone lines and internet package deal! Was a great experience and definitely recommend folks to ask for her when they come to this location. She’ll get you taken care of no sweat. She’s also Deaf friendly and was very accommodating.

Awful customer service. Walked in, was completely ignored by the staff for 10 mins. Finally went over and asked someone for help, she simply pointed at the other side of the room without even looking at me and said "wait there." I waited another 10 mins then left. Left and Went to T-Mobile, someone immediately helped me. Way to lose a new customer because you couldnt be bothered.

Came in cause I got a promotion for half off device accessories and they wouldn’t let me use it in store. Said it was online only. Cases started at 49.99, screen protectors at 59.99. Ridiculous ? then a 29.99 fee for them to put the screen protector on for me. I was like screw this. Lazy staff, didn’t want to accommodate me at all. Went to target and bought 2 great phone cases for 5.99 EACH. Guess I’ll just have to tutorial how to do the screen protector myself. I honestly just wanted a professional to do it to avoid bubbles and to apply it evenly. I probably will do a better job myself with how unenthusiastic the staff was. It was kind of like a relief to them when I just said never mind and they didn’t have to do THEIR JOB. There was no customers in the store. 160$ for a phone case and screen protector is crazy. This store should really value all customers more. Especially me. A loyal customer of almost 2 years.
