I would NOT recommend. the location is sketchy, very dangerous and inconvenient. The “breakfast” they advertised is just prepackaged sugary snacks and juice. The cinnamon roll i grabbed had MOLD ON IT!!!!! Additionally im not sure our room was really cleaned. The bathroom has mold all over it, and our conditioner and shampoo bottles were completely empty when we showed up. Which tells me the cleaning crew didn’t really clean or inspect carefully. the bed is horribly uncomfortable, had dirt in the sheets, and the neighborhood is sooo loud. It made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. Sure it’s a good price, but you get what you pay for! I recommend just spending the extra money to stay in a safe location with clean rooms.

if i could rate this -5 stars i would!!!
- disgusting room. reddish brown stains on the bedsheets, smelly towels, no AC, no private bathroom (when we booked that through Hopper which i’ll say may have been on the third party’s side), unstable foundation (the room kept swaying and shaking), no privacy at ALL! the windows have no curtains.
- rude front desk staff. full of snarky remarks, unwilling to acknowledge the complaints/concerns when told.
- smelly elevator. i’ve never been in a “hotel” (let alone a 3 star one) where it smells like cat piss on their elevator. clearly not up to par? should be looked at by professionals because there’s no way it’s up to safety codes.

Stains all over the bed, blood maybe? Brown and red stains. floors is constantly shaking, zero stability. Was told there was bathrooms but never told that they were shared. Disgusting place. Staff tried to act big when being talked to calmly. My review won’t change until they fix themselves and this establishment.

It’s not a good place for the people who’s seeking for a cheap place to stay in San Francisco. I never expect we need to share bathroom and this place is unsafe as tons of homeless over street and people do drug. The hotel doesn’t have free parking garage .
The parking in San Francisco is very pricey. Not really satisfied with the service.

The place meets the price but the street is saturated with homeless people, they make too much noise at night and access feels unsafe

You need to be aware it is a shared bathroom with the rest of the floor. No sink with the toilet. The room was dirty. I don’t think the floor(no carpet) had been washed in awhile, was very dirty. Could see the dirt on the walls and doors. The quilt was covered in so many stains. We were booked in for a few nights but could not stay after the first night.

This hotel has cameras outside the bathroom window pointing into the bathroom. If you value your privacy and safety, do not come here.

I have stayed here two years in a row for SF Pride weekend and loved it both times! The front desk was more than helpful, overly nice, wonderful communication etc. For communal bathrooms they are kept quite clean in my experience, and the room has also been exactly as promised. If you're coming for pride or any other event in the civic center I think the location is perfect.

Small room but cheap and convenient place to stay if you’ll be out and about exploring SF all day! Just stayed for one night to sleep, didn’t need all the extra fancy amenities that other hotels have!
