Warfield Hotel offers a budget-friendly option for travelers exploring San Francisco, especially those attending events like Pride weekend. The rooms are small but clean, comfortable, and feel like home, making it suitable for guests who plan to spend most of their time outside. The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation and downtown, providing easy access to city attractions. However, the area around the hotel is crowded with homeless people, which can cause noise and safety concerns at night. Shared bathrooms are kept clean, but some guests may find the communal facilities and street environment less safe and less quiet, especially after dark. The hotel does not offer free parking, and parking in the city is expensive. Overall, Warfield Hotel is a practical, affordable choice for travelers who prioritize location and convenience over luxury and privacy.
The place meets the price but the street is saturated with homeless people, they make too much noise at night and access feels unsafe
Safety: Too many homeless
Walkability: Close to public transportation system

Small room but cheap and convenient place to stay if you’ll be out and about exploring SF all day! Just stayed for one night to sleep, didn’t need all the extra fancy amenities that other hotels have!
