About Better Health Pharmacy, County of Santa Clara Public Health Department
The County Santa Clara Public Health Department prevents disease and injury and creates environments that promote and protect the community’s health. Better Health Pharmacy is the first and only dedicated drug donation pharmacy in California. We received unused, unopened, and unexpired medications from licensed healthcare facilities, and dispense the drugs at no cost to our patients who have a valid prescription. Our pharmacy aims to increase medication access for all and serves patients who cannot afford their medications.
Everybody there is very friendly and they know their job. They always take good care of me.

Took me less than 10 minutes and $0 to get a flu shot here on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was friendly and the whole process was incredibly smooth. This is a model of how community health services should operate.
