The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose offers a perfect location close to the airport with no plane noise and a great shuttle service. The staff is consistently described as great, friendly, helpful, and wonderful, with exceptional and outstanding service that goes above and beyond. Guests appreciate the welcoming cookies and water bottles provided at check-in. However, the hotel is widely noted as being dated and worn. The rooms are very dated, with carpets, furniture, and bedding that appear old. While the rooms are clean, they lack modern amenities; some rooms have finicky locks and no mini fridge. There is no coffee service in the lobby, requiring guests to make it in their room or visit the cafe. The on-site gift shop is considered an absolute ripoff for snacks. The hotel provides great seating with plenty of TVs, and the restaurant next to check-in receives excellent reviews for its food.

Booked here for MAGWEST and the hotel experience was very pleasant! Comfortable room, great customer service and housekeeping with many options breakfast. Minor critique is the lack of a microwave or refrigerator but my time here was amazing.

Location is good, outside of San Jose Airport, very easy to get to 101 & 880 , there were restaurants ,supermarkets ,Starbucks and Peet's in 3 minutes drive directly ahead on Brokaw, the squares are around the corners with Oakland St.
