Ganado Feed & Pet Supplies is a local feed and pet supply store serving the Bay Area since 2009. It is one of the best places to get feed for barn animals like chickens and goats, and also carries specialty feed and top of the line feed for all kinds of pets. The store has a great selection and reasonable prices, with a terrific price on items like pine pellets. The staff is always super helpful and friendly, with helpers to load items. There is also a very sweet "house cat" on site. Customers are happy to support this small local business in San Jose.
The pine pellet bedding that is available at this store is the best quality I have ever used, fully worth the small price increase over Tractor Supply and not having to drive far for it. Also happy to support a small business!

I have been coming here for all my backyard chicken food and have even bought some chicks and hens. Extremely friendly staff!

They have food for parakeets and for my backyard’s wild bird-feeders.
They also have periodic visiting veterinarians that can do basic services you’d have to call for details. AND at Halloween, they have a very sweet event in their front area for the children.
