Goodwill of Silicon Valley, established in 1928 in Santa Clara County, is part of the global Goodwill Industries International. It is one of the largest social service organizations, focusing on workforce creation, vocational training, and environmental stewardship. The organization operates a consignment shop chain offering a wide variety of items, including books, housewares, appliances, furniture, and household goods. Their thrift stores feature vintage men's, women's, and children's clothing, often with name brands like Nike and North Face, known for high quality and good condition. The store is well-organized, with categories for different purposes, making shopping easy. The upstairs section often has items that catch the eye, while the downstairs has been recently reorganized for better browsing. Electronics, decor, art, and even some new items are available, providing plenty of options for interior and exterior design inspiration. The staff is friendly, helpful, and dedicated, creating a welcoming shopping experience. Prices are generally affordable, though some items upstairs can be quite expensive, reflecting their perceived value. Donation points are accessible and easy to use, though parking can be challenging on weekends. Overall, Goodwill of Silicon Valley offers a great selection of well-maintained products and supports community and environmental initiatives, making it a favorite spot for many shoppers and donors alike.
Awesome location! Worker at the loft was nice and he was more than happy to show me some items in the case. This goodwill in particular is always my #1 compared to others in the area when it comes to variety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Very organized! I’m not a goodwill shopper, I was donating some stuff and decided to go in and ended up buying a couple of items.

It was very clean and organized well. The best looking store I’ve seen in awhile and the cashier was delightful, as well. I look forward to returning and checking out this loft✨
