Goodwill of Silicon Valley has been transforming lives through the power of work in Santa Clara County since 1928. Shoppers can find plenty of value and treasure in Goodwill stores, as they are stocked with new donations every day. Goodwill accepts a wide range of donations, including electronics, clothing, books, shoes, jewelry, housewares, art, toys, and more, and turns these donations into jobs. The donation process is mostly manual, with clearly marked bins for different types of items. Employees are helpful in guiding donors on where to place their donations, including items like CDs and batteries, which are likely recycled. Donors can receive a tax write-off for their donations. The drop-off location is behind the retail entrance and is usually not crowded. Parking is available, and the sorted bins make it easy to drop off donations. Shoppers have reported finding hidden treasures and being impressed by the neat and orderly nature of the store, leading them to return.
Yet another Goodwill store with ridiculously high prices. Why shop here for used items when you can buy them brand new at Walmart for less.

Goodwill has made it so easy to donate items that others could use. This eliminates asking people in person, which they decline for various reasons. They are conveniently located at the rear of the building. All items are clearly labeled for different items. Don't trash what people can use!
