Came to donate some nice stuff but ended up in a full-on prison intake simulation. The guy at the back door barked orders like I was about to be processed—told me to stand behind a line with the authority of someone who either just got released, escaped, or moonlights as a CO. Not sure which, but honestly, 10/10 for realism. Great place to donate if you’re also prepping for jail.

It's clean and front help is great with customers but older gentleman and anybody working in the back are not friendly at all

Goodwill on De Anza Boulevard is one of the better-organized locations, with a well-maintained store and neatly arranged racks. The clothing section is sorted by size and color, making browsing more efficient. The store also carries electronics, books, and home decor, with some hidden gems for bargain hunters.
While the pricing is reasonable, some shoppers mention that certain items feel overpriced for a thrift store. The staff is generally helpful, though weekends can be busy, leading to longer checkout lines. Overall, this location offers a more structured shopping experience compared to other Goodwill stores.

I went and was trying to get past an employee in the aisle, he and his cart of things were blocking the aisle, I said “excuse me” in a very polite tone, he looked up and said “can’t you see we’re working here. Can’t you go the other way??” In a really rude tone. He then let me pass, looked at his coworker and said “wouldn’t it have been easier to go the other way?” I left immediately because why would I shop somewhere I’m being treated so disrespectfully…

Be aware that appliances are not tested, and you don't get a refund if they turn out to be broken.
It's your responsibility to find an outlet in the store and test the item before buying.

The dropoff in the back of the store is convenient. Workers are helpful in unloading. Access to the back can be tight

Parking is a bit tight as there are limited parking spaces. The racks are also bit too overcrowded so it makes it hard to view items. But the prices are really fair and affordable. Will definitely come again!

Just made my last donation here. I went to the trouble to load a perfectly good exercise machine into the back of my hatchback and drive it down to the donation center behind the store only to be told they don't take these. A complete waste of effort and time to load it up and drive it down there.

Not enough fitting rooms. I stood in line for 20 minutes to try on clothes, no one came out. I left without buying anything. Clothes are GW's main product, why not get more fitting rooms to help sell them? What a waste of people's donations.

This is my second time dropping off items at this site. It was a quick task as they have categorized large labeled bins for almost everything. The only reason I did t give it a five star was there was little parking space. You also have to drive to the back which was one way in and out.

Went there to donate some household stuff and was greeted be a very rude male named Wilson. He got very impatient when I asked where to drop off the stuff and even scold me for wasting his time. Lol.You are better off donating somewhere else. They don’t deserve it.

This Goodwill has improved quite a bit since I last came here ten years ago. Aisles are clean and spacious, and clothing is organized by both size and color, unlike other Goodwills. The store is very well-lit and wasn't crowded on a Saturday evening. I noticed that "fast fashion" brands (Zara, Shein, etc) were relatively uncommon compared to other thrift stores and the selection of clothing (at least in the women's section) was nicely curated. I managed to pick up some nicer brands (Brooks Brothers, White House Black Market) as well as some vintage pieces. Additionally, the older European man ringing up my purchase was SO friendly and provided great customer service! I'll definitely come back.
