Goodwill of Silicon Valley has been transforming lives through the power of work in Santa Clara County since 1928. The stores offer a wide variety of donated items, including electronics, clothing, books, shoes, jewelry, housewares, art, toys, and more. Shoppers can find plenty of value and treasure, as the stores are stocked with new Goodwill items every day. The Goodwill location on De Anza Boulevard is known for its well-organized layout, with the clothing section sorted by size and color, making browsing more efficient. The store also carries a range of other items, including electronics and home decor, providing bargain hunters with the opportunity to find hidden gems. While the pricing is generally reasonable, some shoppers feel that certain items are overpriced for a thrift store. The staff is generally helpful, though weekends can be busy, leading to longer checkout lines. Customers are advised to test any appliances before purchasing, as they are not guaranteed to be in working condition. The parking situation can be a bit tight, and the racks can sometimes feel overcrowded, making it challenging to view all the items. However, the overall experience at Goodwill of Silicon Valley is positive, with fair and affordable prices, and a wide selection of donated goods.
The Asian old woman cashier is rude and should not be checking anyone out. If she “thinks” an item is under priced she won’t sell you the item at the ticket price. She is also very slow which makes wait lines longer.

This location is great for shoes and clothing. Everything else is pretty low quality or small selection. Parking is limited. Men's clothing section has some great finds with Patagonia, NF, Columbia, and other higher value brands.
