“The wife and I took the time to travel most of California to see the RC tracks up and down the state after Christmas. This facility and staff are a great stop for anyone with interest in the sport of rc. They'll take the time to teach you all the moving pieces of the car so you can set it up for your driving style. We really liked their rookie Tuesday educational course, it's a great way to familiarize yourself with rc equipment and put yourself in a situation similar to a real race without the pressure. We had a great time and would definitely stop back if we were in the area. Highly recommend anyone stop by and learn a thing or two. The staff are super friendly and helpful.”
“Small arts and crafts store in Japan Town. Limited off street parking in front of the store. I was able to find a push pin and a ikebana container. Store keeper was very friendly and helped me locate the items. They sell other items such as bowls, tea sets, chopsticks. Would definitely return to this store.”

My husband and I got married in New Orleans and purchased a print by a local artist during our wedding weekend. I finally got around to framing it and went to the Michaels location off Coleman. I was thinking that I could get a frame off their shelves, but I quickly realized that the poster had uncommon dimensions. I had no choice but to get a custom frame for it.
I was assisted by a young gentleman, who was very friendly and helpful. I'm the worst when it comes to making decisions. I have to analyze every little thing, and then I get stuck in analysis paralysis. The associate was so patient with me, and he didn't rush me through the process. I also feel like he didn't limit me on variations of frame colors and matboard. He brought out everything to ensure that I had considered all my options. I relied heavily on his guidance and settled on an elegant thin silver frame with a blue mat.
I called Michael's a week after the expected due date and was informed that it would be ready the following day. I was glad to see that the gentleman who helped me with my custom frame was the same person checking out my product. He carefully laid the framed print out, and I was stunned by how amazingly cohesive the frame and matting looked with the overall print. It was honestly perfect.
This was my first custom frame job EVER - not just from Michael's. I was so pleased with their customer care and execution that I would not hesitate to go to Michaels Coleman custom framers!”

“I was impressed with my visit here for custom plexiglass sheets! I showed up shortly before closing with a shelf that I wanted to recreate in acrylic. The staff measured precisely, gave me my quote, and to my pleasant surprise, cut my project immediately. I walked out 5 mins later with new shelves for my fridge. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely return if I have a similar project.”
“My husband and I came by with a bunch of old coins that we found in my late grandmother’s closet, and saw that it’s appointment only. Despite that, Vince came to the door to ask us what brought us by and invited us in. He looked at our collection and gave us some great insight and advice. Though our collection really wasn’t worth anything, we were grateful to Vince for being generous with his time learned a lot and had a nice time chatting him. We would definitely recommend!”

“Sheldon’s Hobbies is hands down one of the best hobby shops around. The staff is super knowledgeable and actually takes the time to help you find exactly what you need, whether you’re just getting started or deep into the RC world. Their selection is solid—cars, planes, boats, parts, and upgrades—and they always seem to have new inventory coming in.
What really stands out is the atmosphere. It’s not just a store, it feels like a community. The drift setup is awesome, and it’s a great place to hang out, learn, and meet other hobbyists. They’re always willing to answer questions, help troubleshoot, or point you in the right direction without making you feel rushed.
Fair prices, great service, and a fun environment—you can tell they actually care about the hobby and their customers. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re anywhere nearby.”

His prices were very reasonable for the stock he had as well. Even had some Kamen Rider merchandise including a CSM Gaim belt. “Once I was able to find them (just inside Berryessa flea market), it was a great experience! They paid 75% of spot price, which was WAY MORE than other places I checked with in San Jose and San Francisco. I sold them a sterling silver flatware set for over TWICE what I was offered locally and online.
Fair and willing to negotiate. They pay by cash or Zelle, which is convenient. I also sold them some old gold jewelry I stopped wearing decades ago. They gave me a list of what they could pay for each item so I got to choose to keep the items that were worth more in memories than dollars. Quick and easy!
If you go when the flea market is closed, enjoy free entry and parking. 👍🏾”

“This is a great addition to the stores at Valley Fair Mall. I have a 9 year old and I myself a 9 year old trapped in a 40yo body. Stores like this really help break things up among all the boring clothes, jewelry and shoes. It helps fill the void of stores like KB Toy stores from the 80s/90s.I would say most of their toys lean more towards Japanese Anime such as Naruto, Dragonball, Transformers etc.Pricing is fair. You can probably get it online for $, but you'd have to wait and can not guarantee authenticity. Because of online competition, they have all sales as final.The service and people working here were very friendly and you can tell were happy to work in the store and help customers.”
“Good god this place was messy. You were finding toys and sealed trading cards all over the place and it was dark. Like you'd need a flashlight to get a good look at the cards in the display case. The weird thing was their prices were pretty low. We didn't buy anything but they have lots of product for sale.”
