“Dealing with them stared badly but ended well. The problem was that I wanted to donate a new, unused, still in the box toilet. They said I’d have to bring it to the store and would then decide if they wanted it. Lugging a heavy toilet and facing the possibility of it being rejected was IMO, insane. I decided to take the gamble and brought it immediately. They looked at the box to make sure it was a low volume flush model (it was) and I was quickly able to donate it. They should have been able to tell me that they would have accepted the toilet if it met the flush requirements and wasn’t broken without me phoning and leaving messages (which were never answered) or having to find and talk with someone in their main offices.”

“We were about to find everything easily, but there was no indication or signage that the cutting station was down, so the plywood sheets that we needed to get cut to fit in our car simply had to get left behind. Not a big issue but sort of annoying to find out only after picking out the sheets and getting them on the cart. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and helpful, especially for returning the sheets”

“It's a huge store with lots of stuff. Clean. We needed to find a variety of things for our home and it was challenging to find things without wasting time looking. Store maps, or more employees to help (like OSH used to have) would be excellent and improve the experience. Occasionally we'd run
across an employee who helped us, but it's not easy. A store directory, app, or if there were a phone/intercom at the end of each aisle to contact someone with questions would be helpful. I miss OSH!!!”

“This is the place to shop at if you are trying to get decent tools or hardware for cheaper than the big box orange guys, because let's face it, you really don't need to shell out the big bucks when you are still figuring everything out. That said, there are still some misses, ahem their countersink drill bits, where you probably won't be a happy customer. Just remember the old adage that you get what you pay for. This location is also in a sketchy-ish location and you get the vibe with all their shoplifting prevention. But come on, if you're buying tools at a bargain price then this is far down the list of deterrents. Especially when you get a very similar experience at the orange big box guys. Happy shopping and DIYing my fellow weekend warriors.”
