“Laundry day. No clean clothes, so let's get them washed. Lo Behold, my apartment complex washer is flooded and out of service! Initiate panic mode!! I immediately headed here because it's around the corner from my house, but discovered it was a membership based Laundromat. However, if you ask for a guest pass, they will grant you access. Just ring the doorbell. Eunice answered the door and I explained my situation. She was very polite, super chill, and explained and showed how they operate. She even let me leave my bike by the door inside, which I didn't expect. I was grateful for that because I didn't think of bringing my lock. Just be polite and respectful of their common sense rules, and you can wash all your worries away (I was having a stressful day already, and the broken washer was the cherry on top)
They are not currently offering membership, I did ask. But she said I can come back again if I ask for a guest pass again. And I would happily come back because I felt welcomed.
Further things to note
1) This is not a coin-op or cash laundry. They only accept card or apple pay, and you have to load credits onto a laundry card. But there is no fee to use the card or minimum amount to load. The smallest washer is $5.50 and fits an average load
2) There is a cutoff time for guests to use the facilities which is 4:45 pm. And you need to make sure you remove your load as soon as it's done and not leave it for an excessive time
3) There is no food allowed. Best eat your snacks outside or wait until you're done. This place is very neat and tidy for this reason
4) Don't wash clothes or bedding with excessive pet hair. I was told this was a big one!

“Rainbow Cleaners is a professional in-house dry cleaner. Everything is cleaned at the location by Terry and his team. They are the most meticulous and reliable people, overseen by Terry, who is also the owner and manager. He does not use staples in any of the garments (which makes such a difference!) and nothing is trucked off to some warehouse in the East Bay. Terry is also incredibly trust worthy, as he keeps secure any thing he find in the pockets— one time my husband forgot cash in his blazer and there was more than $600 in the pockets —we did not even know!! —but Terry kept everything secure to give us when we came for pickup. The blazers and coats are put on oversized hangers with either large round plastic curves or soft foam on the shoulders of the hangers to support the shape and form of the blazer or coat shoulders — most other places just throw everything onto the cheapest wire hook hangers, which causes the blazers and coats to deform shape in the shoulder areas. These details matter so much to customers, and we are relieved that we have found a dry cleaner in San Jose who cares about our clothes as if they were his own! We had a very similar excellence dry cleaner for years in Cupertino, but when we moved to San Jose, we had to find a new location— so we are very pleased that we found Rainbow Cleaners!!!”

“Personally, I have always liked to come wash this place but this day, 2/14/24 in the morning, the person who was serving looked at me strangely and then looked at my clothes as if he had no right to wash, I think he got upset because while I was watching TV he I asked to change a ticket, I felt like I was stealing my own clothes. I had never had this problem. The staff has always been kind to me. I hope they take my message into account.”

“I have a large selection of clothes and rarely have to go laundry. But when I do I like coming to Wash America the staff is friendly, helpful, easy to talk to and cordial. The place is clean and kept up, even the restroom. The staff wears mask still though it's optional but careful is always better than, the opposite. There are vending machines in the premises and food store which is open during the day. The washers and dryers are still fairly new and effective, to add they are commercial type of washers so they are more reliable to do the job. I like this place and the staff is amazing, the man and woman who is staffed during the night when I come are very nice. Thank you for making this place easier to come to compared to the other places I prefer it here.”
“I love this laundromat, it's honestly the best one nearby and I live in downtown so it's only one exit over off the highway. All the other laundromats around me aren't as clean nor do they seem safe tbh. Everytime I go to the wash stop and do laundry the staff say hello and at this point they all know me in there lol! So friendly, great service, but please note , WED AND THURS are discount days so if you're like me and you don't like a crowd do not go on these days because it gets soooo crowded in there and it can be kind of frustrating having to say excuse me every 2 feet to get through the rows. Thats the only thing they need to fix is the size of the place ! Also, the prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for these days right !?! I vote yes on a megawash n stop ✋️ ? ?

She was super nice and professional and made my suit look great with plenty of time to spare.
