Setareh Market is a Persian, Assyrian, and Middle Eastern hidden gem and great market. It offers a good selection of ethnic products, fresh herbs, feta, a full line of spices, and their own spice mixes. The market sells amazing and fresh prepared food and sandwiches, including Persian spinach quiche, Persian sausage and potatoes, pork mortadella with garlic, olivieh salad, Persian kotlet, and chicken shawarma. Sandwiches are made on lavash bread or a French roll. The nazook is the best in town. The friendly staff and owners are a highlight. A downside is that they sometimes run out of prepared food. It is highly recommended as better than any other sandwich joint.

Found this hidden gem out of nowhere when driving back to my place in the peninsula. They sell fresh sandwiches! My boyfriend had the Persian spinach quiche sandwich and I took the Persian sausage and potatoes sandwich! Amazing and fresh. I'll definitely go here when I'm back down. Better than any subway or sandwich joint!?
