“We love Trader Joe's
Here is a piece of advice, if you see something you like, but your "on the fence" buy it !!!
Some of their stuff is seasonal and will be gone, the next time you visit.
One item "Coconut Amino" is a frequent item but Trader Joe's was out of it for about 3 months. ?
They have some good seasonal Coffee selections that are tasty !!!”
“What a fabulous store this is. The food is fresh. The meals that are put together by Trader Joe’s are reasonably priced and delicious and the staff is outstanding.”
“Lovely little shop! I went in looking for tempeh (a miracle protein for people with high cholesterol!) and I went out with so much more! I found some great Indonesian dishes spice mixes and also condiments! There was a great mix of Dutch and Indonesian treats! The inventory was very impressive but most of all, the owner was so kind and hard-working! He has owned the place for 40 years- amazing! I wished that I hadn't wasted so much money buying Tempeh at Whole Foods when I could have been supporting this small business! Oh well, live and learn and shop small businesses like this one! :)”
“Ordered catering for 45 people party at a park.
Ordering with Lupe was a breeze and she had a ton of super helpful suggestions with regard to ordering the right amount of food and making sure guests had a good dining experience with variety.
Food was delivered exactly as expected and right on time. Guests loved the food and there was perfectly enough food leftover for a couple people to take home a light snack for later. They included all the serving utensils we needed.
Garlic bread tray: super popular, disappeared instantly
Fettuccini Alfredo: Tasty but the form factor of noodles makes it harder to serve even with tongs. Recommend getting a different noodle like penne (Lupe suggested this but I didn't listen haha)
Ravioli: Instantly devoured
Grilled Panini: generous with meat! they were thoughtful and cut the sandwiches into thirds so people could try multiple sandwich flavors and they were easy to pickup.
Garden Salad: Was good but people were more interested in the other foods that they didn't save too much room for this
Grilled Vegetables: Really good, perfectly seasoned and was unexpectedly cleared out quickly.
Was a great experience and I would order again.”
“Pizza's always great. It takes me back when my dad would take me when I was a little girl. Love all the pictures. In the year of 1965 where the old house of pizza was.”
“I was pleasantly surprised at this nice little mktplace I discovered in a shopping center next to Dollar Tree, Sprouts, Burlington and 5Below. Their prices r low and quality is high! I paid a lot more for name brand cough meds at Target - the savngs would have been almost 5$ if I had gotten it here and even more savings from cost at CVS! I like the veggies fruit and grocery section a lot!”
“Just like other Trader Joe's. They have good stuff but not necessarily everything you need. Good produce, ok bread, good selection of frozen food, dried fruits and nuts etc.”
“Where else can you get premium booze, organic veggies, great deli, AND some junk food? It's like Whole Foods and Safeway combined. Darrel works the register at night and is a CRAZY expert on everything to do with CA beers. Who's brewing them, personalities, background, gossip. Is it expensive? Yes, maybe a few dollars more *(although I bought a $70 bottle of Hibiki Whisky from Japan for $50) but what is it worth to you to have this gem right next door?”
“Really good Authentic Mexican food. Closest to homemade Mexican food. The customer service is excellent. The ladies that work the kitchen are awesome. N they are great cooks.”
“Please don't compare this store to Costco. There is no comparison. It is a different business model that does NOT require a purchased membership in order to have access to bulk items. It is very convenient and nice to have the ability to get bigger items without having to worry about that.
Secondly, the prices are GOING to be higher as again-They do not charge you monthly just to access the products they sell. While Costco does. Ultimately you ARE paying more attention Costco.
Just sayin. U.S Foods Chef store is GREAT”
“Khadija and Sydney went above and beyond to help me surprise my mom. I live out of state, but they helped me buy a gift card and a greeting card to send to my mom. Sydney picked out a card that my mom loved, btw, wrote a message in it for me, and then hand delivered it to her. It made my mom cry happy tears. I though good customer service was no longer in existence, but they proved me wrong. Thank you so much!”
“Great marinated meat ?? ?
and had full staff. So almost every checkout counters were available,
so it made the checkout fast on
a Sunday.
Friendly staff. Staff buys from where they work, so...
great recommendations ? ?”
“Ok so this isn't exactly your standard grocery store, they don't always have the same exact item in stock everytime. What they do have is large selection of different things that change frequently which I enjoy. I end up trying new things that I enjoy and for the most part they have great pricing. The place was generally well stocked and clean. It was difficult finding a shopping cart, had to follow a person leaving at a distance so I didn't look like a creep and ask for her cart. I got what I needed as well as a couple things that I don't exactly need and all for a decent price.”
“Small family run business. The store is small and geared towards facilitating/serving families currently on WIC benefit but you can walk in and make a regular purchase. They help with the right amounts and types of products allowed...making the WIC purchase 100% easier. The products are fresh, and the family is always awesome and super friendly.”
“What a deal, Taco Tuesday $1.49 each. Though, they only offer it at that price for the Al Pastor. Other meats charged at regular price. Seasoned well and not dry at all. They ask you for your taco, "with everything?" which is spicy salsa, diced onions, & cilantro. They serve it with sliced radishes and lime wedges. I also got an agua fresca canteloupe - always refreshing and delicious!”
“Bob ai produce department of Branham store is very helpful. He helped my graciously to find the product, made recommendations.
I am very happy with his service
And will be back soon
Good job Bob
Thanks”
“The owner of this store is arguably the kindest person I've met in a long time. His store is amazingly organized and it's really easy to pick out the items you need. The lines moves very quickly, yet you never feel rushed. This store is a great service to its community. Great place”
“I had an amazing experience at this store today, all thanks to Raymond! I was having a rough day, but Raymond completely turned it around. He was offering samples of cinnamon puffs, and I decided to try one—so glad I did because they were so good that I ended up buying a whole bag of them. When I asked him where the sea moss was, he went way beyond what I expected. Not only did he guide me around the store, but he also gave me some fantastic recommendations for snacks I hadn't tried before. His kindness and knowledge truly made my day better.
Raymond is a gem, and I can't thank him enough for his help. This was an experience I won't forget, and it made my day so much brighter. Thank you so much, Raymond! You're amazing!
Highly recommend visiting this store—and be sure to ask for Raymond! He’s the best!”

“Great customer service and every time I'm in San Jose i try to stop by and remember how good it was living in that block ? shopping there for over 25+ years from the original owners to the same face ..and friends”
“I love this market because I can find so many things that I need. I have sensitive skin and allergies so I tend to go for natural things. And they carry it!!!
I love their Irish Soda Bread and I can get this year round. Other than that, I have to wait until St Patrick's Day. Their vegetables are fresh and check out their bakery section. It's wonderful!!”
“Temptation Plus. This store will knock your socks off...so much more than a mere "market" - it is a veritable goldmine of fabulous food. The Bakery - divine- the Wonderful counter with sandwiches, treats, soups, - amazing. Wine Dept - great. Fresh sushi! Trust me - that have everything you need...vitamins, organic produce, aisles of unique and wonderful items you didn't even know you needed (but wanted) Good Sales. Not Cheap - high quality. Checkout staff is terrific - Love Sarah! Always gracious and fast and nice. (Note: They have the Best Carrots Ever!)”

“I find it odd that I'm reviewing a little market, but this place is fantastic. Went here because whole foods was closed and I needed to pick up beers for a get together. Didn't expect much, but wow the craft beer selection fantastic and a super friendly owner. I love whole foods, but I probably won't be going to whole foods anymore for beers.”
“They has a lot of things that I have not seen at other European market, although it was mainly Eastern European focused. Definetly was worth a visit as they have a lot of unique items and new things to try if you are looking to explore new food.”
“There are a lot of foods that Chinese people like, the favorite is fish and meat siomai, which is a street snack that most people in Hong Kong like. Boxed ones cost 9.99/pound, and buying in bulk is only 8.99 by weight.”
“Great selection, but make sure you check ingredients if you're vegan because they have vegetarian stuff that has whey in it. The people working are so kind and lovely. The old negative reviews are ridiculous because they scan all the barcodes and prices are clearly listed on each item. Sometimes there are buy 2 get 1 free deals. Pay with Venmo, cash, or check only.”
“I usually come here for the meat when I want to cook outside. It is fairly priced, the service is prompt and everyone is friendly. It help if you can speak a little Spanish. The parking is a little crowded but I'm on a bike most of the time. This is one of the smaller locations. It's convenient for me. Do try some preseason chicken or beef it's delicious !”
“08.05.25 11:50am
Excellent location, clean store, great parking, great merchandise & food selections and wonderful staff (cashier Antonio!).
They always have great deli products on sale, got the 12oz Aidell's Teriyaki & Pineapple Chicken Meatballs for $2.99 (this is almost the Costco sale price for 46oz size if calculated by oz), 12oz Hickory Farms Summer Sausage $1.99, 4oz Bar S Deli Shaved Ham $0.50, Oroweat Keto Bread $5.99 (same price as Safeway), 48oz Sunsweet Prune Juice $4.99, 24oz North Coast Organic Apple Sauce $3.29, cantaloupe $2.49, 2 Pint Strawberries $3.99, humongous mangos 4/$5, refrigerated 3ct bag of Japanese fresh ramen noodles $1.28, etc.”
“Mostly fruits and vegetables in this farmers market. Lots of Asian herbs and vegetables. On the smaller side of farmer markets. Besides produce, there is a stand that sells other things such as eggs, bakery items, seafood, popcorn, and Mexican food. Live music. Vendors are friendly and greet you with a smile. Some of them offer fruit samples. Parking at the James Lick High School parking lot.”
“Everything is very good in the store and everyone is friendly, there is just something that is not right, whenever I pay with EBT they check the receipt I think it is to see the amount I have because when I pay with the normal card they only throw the receipt in the bag and I've already noticed that other people do it too and it's not right.”
