“They have a huge inventory of all things drinkable - beer, hard soda, hard liquor, liqueur- and bar accessories too. They have a good snack selection also, and a big inventory of small bottles for trying beverages out. The staff are extremely helpful.”
“What a beautiful day for the Willow Glen Spring Wine Walk. The weather was a perfect 75°F—ideal for sipping and strolling.
My wife and I attended for the first time and, as we’re from out of town, weren’t quite sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The event featured approximately 28 wine-tasting locations spread throughout downtown Willow Glen, spanning both the east and west sides of Lincoln Avenue and covering roughly one-third to one-half mile end to end.
What stood out most were the friendly interactions—with both fellow attendees and local business owners—along with the opportunity to browse shops, restaurants, and other establishments along the way. We even picked up a lovely candle from one of the participating locations.
Tickets were $45 per person if purchased in advance by a certain date, or $55 afterward or at the event (if still available). I was pleasantly surprised to learn the event had sold out. Each ticket holder received a stemless wine glass for tastings, which also made a nice keepsake.
A few helpful notes for attendees:
Tickets are required to participate.
A valid ID is needed to receive a wristband.
Wine must be consumed inside each establishment—no strolling with wine.
Sample pours are small, typically around 0.5 to 1 ounce.
I also appreciated that a few locations offered glass-rinsing stations, and there was a central water station available to help prevent dehydration.
A wide variety of wineries participated, offering red, white, and rosé selections—there truly was something for everyone.

“It's the shopping center with my only go-to UPS Brown Store for doing online returns. There may be 6 customers at UPS but there have been 2-3 employees on-hand to move us along very quickly. I've always been able to pull into any of 3 parking spots right in front of the UPS store. A quick in and out for me almost always except my first time.”

We tried the Mocha Blanc soft serve, and it was absolutely delicious. I’d definitely come back just to try more of their ice cream flavors this place is a must-visit for ice cream lovers.
The shopping complex has a large parking lot, but it fills up quickly on weekends, so plan accordingly.

“This place has a lot of upscale clothing, however, I honestly think for a used clothing store, they're a little overpriced. It's almost retailers with a small discount. You can sell your own clothes but from my experience, it's difficult because they're extremely picky & usually only buy brand new items with tags. Additionally, they don't offer much at all. But it's a nice, big store with great items & clean. Peaceful experience overall.”
“This plaza is centrally located in North San Jose, right in the heart of the “Golden Triangle” surrounded by many high-tech companies. It’s a great spot to meet up for lunch or to relax after work. Very convenient location!”

“The cashiers, stockers, etc...are always very patient and friendly. The produce is always fresh and displayed nicely. Lastly, the bathroom has been clean 90% of the time.”
“They're very kind hardworking people ready to help, The day I visited it they had plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and I love the bulk coffee, you can choose mix and match, and grind your own coffee, have that fresh brew in the morning or afternoon evening. I used to service automatic coffee machines and grinders, and the coffee grinds appear to be calibrated.”

“This is another Mexican grocery store with plenty of extras like the bakery department that makes some pretty good Pan Dulce and the taco food bar counter that has some good yummies to endulge in when you are making your rounds in the store. It gives competition to the Cardenas and Chavez grocery stores and the place is kept pretty clean inside. The staff all very friendly and hospitable and ready to assist us in any questions about where to find specific products. If you are looking for the special products for the holidays like the Masa Flour they use for Tamales you can go here and find what you need.”
“An upscale outdoor entertainment and shopping oasis that features various residences, hotels, shops, bars, eateries, personal care services, live music, weekly and seasonal events, a movie theater, and more... there's plenty to keep you busy at Santana Row. Businesses here have come and gone over the years, but there are always enough options to fit diverse needs and preferences. Restaurants are more on the fancy side, but they do have more casual eateries like Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and this past weekend I got to enjoy some good eats at Urban Plates as well as delicious sweet treats from the Smitten Ice Cream stand. My recommendations for some of the best spots at SR are Zazil Cocina Mexicana, super delicious mexican cuisine in an inviting setting, Vbar rooftop bar at Hotel Valencia, absolutely gorgeous indoor and outdoor space for enjoying cocktails and good company, and Vintage Wine Bar, nice laid back ambience and awesome array of menu options. Also love the Container Store (yup, it has more cool items than you'd think), the carefree vibe when enjoying outdoor brunch with live music, special events throughout the year (usually posted on their website), and the movie theater updated and conveniently located for catching a flick before or after doing a little shopping or drinking on the row. Fancy and expensive apartment living is available too, yes I've toured the homes, and I do like the wine coolers on top level units, but not the leasing office management lacking in communication skills. SR currently has snow showers on Tuesdays and Saturday evenings in December, every 30 minutes 6-8pm in Park Valencia, along with Christmas music in different parts of the plaza, nothing too amazing but still a fun little feature and enough to put you in the holiday spirit. Overall, a clean and classy environment, decorated beautifully during the holidays with endless string lights that enliven the atmosphere and captivate crowds. Free parking available in several different garages on site add to the convenience. Despite not being the most exciting destination, Santana Row still has a lot of positives and is probably one of the best places in SJ to take friends and family visiting from out of town.”
